UPDATE: This company has stellar customer service! What I thought was a product error was actually user error. I did not realize that I had a newer version of the hydro flask and this was meant for the older version. The company actually contacted me after my review and I told me how to find out what model I had and let me know that it was not made for the model I had purchased. On top of that they offered recommendations of their product that were meant for the model I had... and then above and beyond that they actually offered to send me a brand new model they had been working on as soon as it was available. At no cost to me! AMAZING!! I just received it in the mail today and put it on my bottle. It looks great and works wonderfully! Props to Gearproz. I will definitely buy from you guys again and I recommend this company to everyone. Did I get a dud? I was so happy when I received this paracord handle. I struggled a little bit getting it on, but it wasn't too hard. It seemed to always be sliding up on my bottle though and I was constantly pushing it down. I didn't think too much of it though, as it still seemed snug. Then the other day after getting out of my car and starting across the parking lot to go into work, juggling a bunch of things as I usually am, I hear this clank and I looked down in my hydro flask, my beautiful brand new hydro flask is on the ground. Not so new and beautiful anymore. I'm so bummed! I had such high hopes for this paracord and I wanted to protect my hydro flask because they are so darn expensive. It's a nice concept, but it just didn't work for me. now I have a dented and banged-up hydro flask and I'm not putting the Paracord back on because I'm scared to death it's going to just fall off again :( I would return it except that I threw out all of the packaging because it seemed to be working fine at the beginning.

This is a great product, very well made and makes my HydroFlask so much easier to lug around! It was a bit tricky to install; I managed to do it without warming up the ring or employing any help, but I damaged the carabiner in the process. It wasn't a big deal because I happened to have another one laying around, so I just replaced it with that. When the store emailed me to follow up on the order I mentioned it, and they were so helpful. They sent out a replacement right away. As far as functionality of the product, it is exactly what I needed. Once I got it on I have had absolutely no issues with it, it fits perfectly. When I looked at the packaging more closely, I realized that this company actually donates a portion of their proceeds to a charity that is local to me!! I feel great about my purchase, and given how sturdy the handle is I doubt I will need to replace it any time soon, but if I did I would definitely order from Gearproz again.

I thought I already left a review for this product and am ashamed I forgot to post it! I purchased this paracord handle back in April 2017. I'm not going to lie, it may not be the cheapest but the quality as well as the customer service is outstanding. You get what you pay for. I actually purchased 5 of these handles and they are worth every penny. They were easy to install and has made carrying our hydroflasks so much easier to take along with us. The carabiner clip helps my smaller children clip it to their backpacks and because they now have a handle to hold their hydroflasks with, they are drinking more and more water. Also, I can't imagine how many times my kids would have dropped their hydroflasks had it not been for these handles. Customer service was very kind, professional, and responsive regarding a concern I had. That speaks volumes about how this company stands by its products. If you are a bit hesitant on purchasing this compared to other ones, pick GearProz as the quality is very impressive. I would recommend this to anyone.

I’m really fond of this product. It’s true, getting it on is the hardest part - I had to soak the plastic ring in some hot water for a few minutes to make it more maleable, but that’s also a good thing because it means it’s not going anywhere. It’s super secure, I’ve seen other makers try to create a product similar with JUST the paracord, and that frankly isn’t sturdy enough. The plastic ring is vital I think. It’s also cute as heck, the color of the cord matched the image which was nice. Because the cord fits around my arm, I can actually carry my bottle like a bag and hold more things in my hands which is my favorite part. (Trying to juggle it before I bought a hydrocord was actually how I ended up denting my hydro flask in the first place). Anyway, it’s a very well-made product, totally worth the money, and I adore supporting small family businesses so I will likely buy another one for my partner’s hydro flask for Christmas.

Decent for the price. I have this and the ones sold from ironflask.com. the iron flask version is woven so it does not show where the cord was sealed via melting the fibers together. This product shows those on one end of the strap. Not the worst but still not appealing. Still 4 out of 5. It is very sturdy.

I highly recommend this HydroCord from Gearproz I’ve now purchased 3 and came back on today to get a 4th for a hydro flask I’m giving as a gift. (All for 32oz Hydroflask widemouth bottles) They’re all in excellent condition still after travel, hikes, tossing around, and much handling. I initially purchased one to replace a **different brand** I had purchased for my daughter that was falling off her bottle after less than a month due to poor craftsmanship. I should have paid closer attention to the ratings and the “Amazon Choice” to see this one then! She loves this one and has had people stop her asking where she got it. It certainly makes carrying a 32oz bottle a lot easier and looks nice too. Once I gave it to her I quickly realized I needed one for mine. It’s fantastic! I have nerve damage in one arm and don’t have an issue taking my bottle by this handle and being able to walk my dog or do anything else. It’s made grabbing my bottle easier for me. Living in the Pacific Northwest I’ve taken it cross country traveling to DisneyWorld (and stayed hydrated in the park), hiking, road trips, the beach, you name it. I’m glad I got this through Gearproz. **UPDATE** Bought this in June 2018 and it’s now May 2019 and this is still on my bottle! I’ve had no issues and it’s been through a lot and is used almost daily. I highly recommend this if you’re looking.

Somewhere in the long list of information underneath the purchase details, this puppy says "Not for 40 or 64 oz bottles." Well, I missed that. Somehow my eyes colluded with my purchase finger to trick my brain into buying one of perhaps the awesomest paracord handles for a large-mouth 40 oz Hydroflask water bottle out there. My wife purchased one from one of those other knock-off brands for her bottle and it was unraveling within a week, the cords around the bottle so loose you could throw things through it. After what seemed like hours of searching the vast ocean of Amazon, this here Gearproz handle won out the gladiator like bracket of desired Hydroflask handles. With it's cool assortment of colors to match- or mix- the stylish large-mouthed Hydroflask bottle colors, and easy-to-pop-on-but-takes-Herculean-strength-to-remove plastic ring for securing the paracord and life-saving d-clip, he only thing that could make it more spectacular would be a clip so you could open and close it. Oh, wait. It does have a clip so you can open and close it, making it a bit easier to get the opening of your large-mouthed Hydroflask water bottle under a fridge water spout and not flood the area with delicious, refreshingly cool fridge water because the handle got in the way... I may have seen someone do that... That wasn't me... Even after a few weeks of use, mine has not loosened up noticeably. The one I got for my wife is still in great shape too- and she carries hers everywhere like it's her sidekick or something. But even that looseness has a purpose. To be able to break that cord down and hog-tie a home (or campsite) intruder with the black & blue (or whatever colors you chose) justice of officially licensed Gearproz paracord until the men in blue arrive to haul them away. Or any other emergency situations that paracord could help out in a pinch. But wait! There's more! Well, not really. It's pretty cool and accents the bottle well. And it says it's good with numerous other brand large-mouthed water bottles than Hydroflask but I dunno about that.

Looks great! Got it on in less than a minute with the help of a screwdriver by using the hole for the carabiner (key holder) and simultaneously pulling down the left buckle piece (as displayed in the photo). Looks of good quality and hope it holds up well as I take this bottle just about everywhere I go!

I saw this concept when I was on vacation in the Philippines. I'm so glad I got these. As a person who refuses to go back to the car to grab everything, this makes life easier. I can just slip the cord into my wrist and no more hurt fingers or dropping my things. As you can see, it also works for the 64 oz thermoflask.
