I bought this lamp in August 2021. It is now March 2026 and I had to come back to write a review. This thing has been through the trenches with me (5 moves, 3 relationships, daily use, and general age). Has never once lost any brightness or failed. Three options for lighting, very bright. I bought this for portrait drawing originally, since I needed something really bright. This now operates as a sort of ring light for me, but works either way for sure. The neck is super bendy and flexible. Super easy to set up, the clamp is very strong and is good on about a 1-1.5” deep surface. I love this thing and needed to come show my appreciation for it lol.

Great light. 3 brightness settings. Lightweight with a nice sturdy, wide-spreading clip to attach to most tables.

So far so good, it work which is surprising with Amazon purchases lately. The clamp and flexible extension are great. The clamp clamps strong and the extension holds it's position well, it's actually almost to strong. The lighting is decent, the three dim options make it useful for many different applications. The power button has to be held for quite a few seconds before it turns off. Other than that we'll see if it actually lasts very long before it has any issues

TROND Halo 9W-C Dimmable Daylight LED Clamp Light Desk Lamp Review. Very nice! I needed something next to my desktop computer to brighten things up a bit when I was doing paperwork. The overhead light here in my living room wasn't producing a bright enough light to help me see what was on my paperwork. This light fixes that problem and then some. Right off the bat, when you first plug it in, the light is on in the brightest setting. Very impressive! The touch light setting, which is found right on the top of the light fixture where the circle is, just above the TROND logo, is where you touch it to change the brightness and turn it off and on. It has 3 settings for brightness, a good mix in differences. When you need to shut it off, touch that circle again for 2 seconds or so. Turn it on....touch that circle for 2 seconds or so again and it'll turn back on to the brightness it was last on. To change the brightness settings, just tap the circle with your finger. Just a tap is all it needs. Tap it again and the brightness will change. The flexible gooseneck is great and the light actually rotates. The only reason I gave the sturdiness 4 starts instead of 5 is that when I move the light head away from me or to re-position the light, the whole light fixture moves due to the clamp not being strong enough. It's plenty strong when you try to open the clamps but my desktop is smooth and the clamps moves/slides around while trying to move the light head fixture itself. Not a big deal and I can understand why there isn't something like some teeth on the clamp to help secure it, it'll gouge your desktop. It comes with a 110VAC adapter also. I am quite happy I purchased this light fixture and you will be too!

This is a nice lamp and probably works ok if you clamp it horizontally like on the edge of a desk. But we needed it on a headboard of a bed so we clamped it vertically and the gooseneck of the lamp would not hold the light in the upright position. It would droop down. You can see in the web page for this item they have a person painting with the lamp clamped vertically the way we had it on the headboard and it is drooping down over the painting, but it is not clear that it cannot be moved higher than this. In fact, ours drooped even more than that. So if you are using it for a desk it should work fine. It is very, very bright on its highest setting which is nice.

I needed a desk lamp because this whole Covidpalooza thing has me working from home. My home office is a dark dungeon, and that's not conducive to productivity. So I started looking for lights with three must-have features: #1 Must be very small. I have a lot of work-related crap, so I needed a desk lamp that won't get in my way. Basically I need it to blast my crap with very bright light but be otherwise unintrusive. #2 Must be bright. See previous statement about blasting my crap with light. This does that well. Tap it to turn it on. tap it again to make it brighter. Tap it again to make it even brighter still. Then tap it twice more because the medium setting is plenty. For me, anyway. #3 It can't annoy me. Now you think, how could a lamp annoy you? Well this guy replaces an annoying light. Google "bankers lamp". The kind with the green glass shades. Then buy one. Then throw a measly 40 watt-equivalent LED bulb in it. Then realize it's not nearly bright enough and throw a 100 watt incandescent in it. Then burn the crap out of your hand the next time you try to adjust the shade because it's blasting your crap with too much light. That's annoying. Overall I like this lamp. The clamp is plenty strong to hold onto my roughly 1" thick desktop. I think I could probably get it clamped onto a thicker desktop just fine. The cord is plenty long. I was expecting it would be shorter than it is. Useful for when that outlet is a foot or two further away than you remembered it being. It holds up well even if your clumsy cat runs into it at full tilt chasing ghosts while in the depths of a 3-day catnip binge. Guy's a monster. Buy this lamp if you want something unintrusive and bright.

I bought this lamp to help with my close-up photography of miniatures. I needed a bright daylight-like diffused light that I could easily position and wasn't too big, and that is exactly what this lamp provides. The clip is strong and sturdy and opens wide enough to clip to a desk and the cable is quite long which makes it easy to move about and not be tethered too near the electric socket or have to faff with extensions. The flexible gooseneck could be a tad longer but is adequate for most uses and is a little stiff to bend however, this is a good thing as it easily supports the weight of the lamp head. Three light levels give a good range depending on how much light you need, the dimmest is fine for a general desk light or perhaps reading when only a lower light level is required and the brightest is great for craft work etc. The translucent panel acts as a diffuser to soften the light. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the light and for the price (£11.99 at time of purchase) you can't go wrong. I have purchased quite a few led lights in the past and this one so far is my favourite, let's hope it has a long life!

I havent switched it on yet as the plug doesnt fit our sockets.

The lamp is not super bright, but ample sufficient for most general desk use. I would have liked the arm a little longer, but again, that is just me. The clamp is great, much better than other lamps I have. I also like that the lamp comes on when power is supplied, i.e. when connected to a power bar, that switch will turn the lamp on and off. As it should be. The downside of that is if it is connected to a regular wall outlet, a power bump will turn the lamp on.

What a great lamp. The clamp is quite strong and I had no problem connecting it to the headboard of the bed. The goose neck is really strong but flexible enough to put it in what ever position suits your needs. The lamp has a very soft touch switch which allows you to cycle through the 3 lamp luminous settings. The light is a very soothing white light and easy on the eyes and not like the yellow light of most incandescent lights. It is easy to set up and the lamp comes extremely well packaged. This is a very lovely reading lamp and we are more than pleased with it.

Good product. Makes reading in bed easier. Takes no room up on bedside table. I got this one for my friend for her birthday as I had liked mine so much
