I purchased these for wrist & neck lanyards. I paired them with a roll of 3mm non textured weather proof leather "rope" . The dims are exact. I used a dab of glue before setting them in place which went flawlessly. The locking design is simple but genius. Especially if you have less than perfect dexterity in your fingers. I needed to fix a simple men's pendant. The original leather cord became brittle and the fastener came off the cord. I used these fasteners with a 2mm leather cord to restring the pendant. Never done this before and it worked like a charm. I used super glue to attach the cord to the closure.

Easy to fit over and secure to leather ends.
