I build model dioramas as a hobby. For the ultimate realism I like to put a sound clip of the subject of the build incorporated into it. Such as a race car I would use a sound clip of an engine revving and tires squealing. I used to do this with gizmos from radio shack. Well now they're gone so I had to find an alternative. This is it! Super simple to use. Nice and loud. All packed into one compact unit. It can be used for a ton of other projects limited to your imagination. I had no trouble with any static or unwanted sounds in my recordings. The way its designed prevents any accidental erasing unless you want to go back and rerecord your sound bite. Just plug in the 3.5 mm jack into any device with that port to transfer the sound onto the digital chip built into this unit. Theres no microphone to distort the sounds. Its a direct file transfer like you would put music on your phone. You can edit the sound on your device to what you want and this will copy it exactly. As you can see in the video I included I am building a diorama of Michael Myers from the Halloween movie and plan on including a clip of the soundtrack. Its gonna be so cool when I'm done 😁😁. For its price and ease of use I highly recommend this product.

This was perfect for what I needed them for. They feel really cheap and light, BUT has a great speaker and is easy to use! Depending on your phone or music source outlet, you might need to put some pressure on the adapter to push it in a bit further and avoid some static. Best thing to do is keep it on a solid, flat, stationary table, don't move, turn volume about 1/2-3/4 way on the source, and hit record! Easily records multiple times. Love it! just a bit pricey for the quality of the item. Great sound, but still.

I bought this to record the Benny Hill theme. Now every time something really stupid happens at work - and it really can be a clown show at times - I press the button. Those of us that are in on the joke get endless joy from this little device (unfortunately). It works great - can be a little tricky to start the recording at the right moment - but aside from my shenanigans, I could see how this would be a really cool thing to put into homemade stuffed animals, etc. Pretty neat and works great.

I liked the sound quality. The instructions were pretty easy to follow. I did not like the fact that you could only record one message. You cannot push the button over and over for multiple sound bites. Yes, the device provides you with good sound quality, and a good amount of space for longer messages, but you can only have one sound bite on the device at any given time. I used it to bring my Good Guy Doll (Chucky) to life with a sound bite from the movie Child’s Play. I wish I were able to push the button multiple times for different phrases, instead of just one. Also, the button is a bit flimsy. I wish it required a firmer push to play. I thought my Good Guy Doll was possessed, but as it turns out, just laying him down set off the button. Had to turn it to the off switch until ready to use. Other than that, it’s a good product.

I got inspired to create my own Yoshi toy. I enjoy making crotchet projects from time to time of various well known characters. This time I wanted to make a Yoshi that spoke and decided to purchase this sound box. I had no problems following instructions nor when recording. All went smooth. My only problem was that there was a recording of a song already recorded on as if it was previously used by someone. So that made me feel like I bought a used item for the price of a new one. Unless they all come previously recorded with this jingle. Other than that I am satisfied and may come back to purchase more when inspired :)

It had a pre-recording on it that I couldn't get rid of.

I have been looking for something for a special present for my Brother. I wanted to record some words and singing of our mother, who has passed. This had the largest amount of recording time that I could find anywhere. I looked at the mixed reviews and was a little worried. I found a recording of my mother on VHS, we used it on the only one in our house, which was attached to a child’s TV. We connected it into the headphone jack, followed the advice of a few people that said to turn it up, and it worked perfectly! I actually had to re-record it because it was a little too loud. Very clear, and the time on it was more than enough to accomplish what I wanted to do. The advice I got on here helped as well. Someone said not to hold down the button. I’m not sure if it made a difference, but I did not. Thank you so much for making a product with the large amount of recording time, and quality. I just sent it to my Brother for Christmas. Cross my fingers, he likes it!

I got this to create a push button player of Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas is You during the holidays for my locker at work that I decorated. It was easy to setup (I connected it through my phone) and recorded a good portion of the song. It still plays the Christmas song since I haven't updated it yet, but who doesn't like a little cheer in April? The next song I'm planning on uploading to it is the X-Files theme song so when something wrong/weird/mysterious happens at work, I can just push the button to play the theme song and really set the mood.

I bought this and the similar EZSound Module so I could use whichever worked better for my project, and I was pleasantly surprised that they are both perfect. It's rare that my expectations are exceeded, but both of these arrived quickly and do exactly what they say they will. The box is more for a turnkey project where you want to play a clip and you don't want to integrate it into a custom box, etc. Very quick to record from a phone or PC and then the audio is loud and crystal clear. The module is more for when you want to make the container yourself, just as easy to use.

It works. There is a high noise floor and pops. Bound to happen with an Aux cable though. It does what I need it to.

Finally found the perfect sound module to use for my project. It's pretty light, reasonably loud for it's size and it's really simple to use. Very satisfied with this product and I highly recommend.

i used this to record a song and placed it in a stuffed toy..this is easy to use and an excellent product!!!

Works good, stuck it in my kids stuffed rabbit to play sleeping bunnies... plays the entire song. How loud it is depends on how loud the input is.
