Lasts about 20mins on my RC car

I have been buying these Traxxas 3000mAh NIMH 7-C Hump 8.4V Battery for an old Traxxas truck I have. I use the truck to play with in the evenings fairly regularly for a month or two, then get busy for a month or two and don't use it. Since 2016 I have bought 2 batteries every two years, an extra so I can play as long as I like. Sometime I use two in and evening, sometimes one. I make sure I alternate either way. I have never gone to lipos because I don't want to work on the truck all the time, and its fast enough for me. I have tried the higher amp NIMIs and they haven't lasted nearly as long, If I buy one of these 3000mAH batteries and one of the higher amps at the same time the high amp bat is good for 5 or 6 months of play, then they don't perform at as high a level or as long of intervals. The performance drops pretty rapidly from there, and the 3000 goes on for another year and a half or so. I have tried charging both at the recommended rate, and lower to extend life. This battery seems to stay at the top performance level longer if I charge at 2/3 of the recommended rate. No noticeable difference on the higher mAH batteries. Now I just buy these. They arrive in good condition, in a good state of health. I charge them to top them off and run in short intervals for the first to charges so as not to get them to hot. I never charge them hot, I don't run them after the performance drops noticeably, and I store them in a cool dry place. This is a very good product and I will keep buying from this seller as long as the quality stays the same.
