No byrna 8gr cartridges available, can I use a different brand 8 gr?

According to Byrna, No you can't because non Byrna manufactured CO2 cartridges can damage and void your warranty. That being said, I see a lot of LTL who own Byrna launchers using off brand CO2 so it's up to you. Also Byrna says to oil your launcher after every 500 rounds, so if you have the oil cartridge, you don't need to use it after every 9 cartages, you can save them for when you've gone through 70-75 reloads (5 round clip) then you'll be getting closer to the 500 round recommendation.

How do I know wich one is the oiler? All of mine came the exact same way.

mine was marked with a dot on it,, can't remember what color dot,, all i know is that it had a dot on it,, but,, the only way you'll know now is when you fire it,,

No, you have to buy the 12 gram adapter from Byrna then they will fit.
