We purchased this colander primarily for pasta. It allows you to both cook then quickly and safely drain your pasta in the same pot. It is the same superior quality of stainless steel as the Magma cookware set, washes up easily and nests with the rest of the set perfectly. That and the collapsible handle means it can be stored in the same compact carry case - not extra pot to try and store. Although we don't use it on the daily, I think it is a very useful add-on to the Maga cookware set and would highly recommend.

This fits perfect in the Maga set. It does increase the height of the set by 1 Inch. If you have a space problem, this set is perfect.
