Mikasa Annabelle Bone China 40-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 8, Lightweight and Chip-Resistant White Porcelain with Elegant Design

I love mikasa. The quality, look, and functionality all are worth the price. I love the salad plates with this set, they are deep. A cup arrived chipped from the bottom where it was not glazed, and a plate had some gunk on the side. It was probably glue. The packaging was very nice. This set is easily stackable, not too think, light weight, and is dishwasher safe so definitely easy to clean. I am happy with my purchase. Great house warming gift!

These are a really simple and beautiful with a light textured design that is easy to clean. I had always thought bone china was too delicate for everyday use, but they’re holding up fine after many times in the dishwasher and a husband whose nickname is “Crash.”

This set is beautiful and of good quality. They are lightweight and thinner than I expected but I really like them. Unfortunately, one of the bowls arrived broken. I dreaded the idea of having to repackage everything and haul it to Staples to return the heavy box, so I decided to reach out to their support department. They replied within a day or two and just asked for proof of purchase and pictures of the damage. They quickly replied to inform me that they'd be shipping a replacement of not one, but four, bowls. I could keep the extras. I was super relieved to know that I didn't have to repackage everything and take a trip to the store, neither did I have to return the broken bowl. They have gained a customer for life with their excellent customer service.

Absolutely love this brand. Pricey but worth every penny. Classic look and you can’t compete with bone china. Stunning set.

The Mikasa Annabele dinner service (look it up on Amazon) for eight was perfect for me - simple white china with delicately decorative beaded circles - so perfect that I bought two sets. I was especially pleased about the pasta bowls, small dessert or cappuccino bowls, and large comfortable mugs with no saucers. Each element was carefully packed in cardboard boxes with protectors between the individual items. However, one pasta bowl was broken and another was missing. I complained to Amazon and was directed to the manufacturer, Mikasa, to seek a possible replacement. Huge success! I sent photos of the invoices, the broken bowl, and some damage on one of the boxes, though I couldn't be sure which box had contained the broken piece and could only give my word that another bowl was missing. They have just replied that, since the bowls are only sold in sets of four, they would send me four instead of two! I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase, Amazon's help, and Mikasa's amazing service.

Love the set. Very attractive but not as functional as I expected. First, there were broken pieces during delivery but the Mikasa customer service was excellent, fast, and courteous. Week 2 of using the mugs on my daily coffee routine and two of them developed hairline cracks - sad about it. I really wanted them to last a decent time. But the issue seems to be limited to the mugs. The rest of the set is perfectly fine.

Daily dishware, lightweight and elegant

I really love the look of this set for everyday use. And the manufacturer was great to deal with when i contacted them. The downside - i actually received double small and large plates, and was missing both set of bowls and the mugs. I found Mikasa's email address on their website, emailed them pictures, and about a week or so later i received the missing pieces. I guess the upside is after some patience i now have extra plates if any do break. The fruit bowls are very small, but handy for well portioned snacks. Time will tell if the set is are durable (I'll update if any chip or break).

We just received our order a few weeks ago but our dishes arrived in good time with no chips or breaks. So far, we are happy with our purchase. Plates and bowls are a good size, and are microwave and dishwasher safe. The pattern is muted. Time will tell if this purchase was worth the money.

I purchased this set in April 22 since then I had to throw away 2 plates and this will be my third one. Prior to this I had the same set for years without any problems except that I wanted white plates instead of my red ones. Very disappointed with this product.
