Me like
Low rating on noise cancellation as they aren't noise cancelling headphones. They sound great. They feel great on my head for the hour at a time I use them. Downside is the app you need to set equalization presets. IMHO, that app wants too much personal info for too little return. I'll just keep using the equalizer in my music player. In other words, don't download the app. edit, 2 months later. The app tells you the battery charge. Still, don't bother with the app, just charge the thing every chance you get. That said, I love these things. They sound great. They pair reliably to my phone. Considering this is the second time I've upgraded my opinion, yeah, for $40 buy these instead of earbuds. Yeah, you'll stand out wearing these as opposed to ear buds, but it's worth it. (edit Nov 18, 2022) I've had these things for a few weeks now, and I love them. I've done A+B tests with my 20 year old $200 wired headsets, these sound better. While working out I can actually play a song and focus on the bass guitar. Or the drummer. Even that weird background sound a keyboardist does. As someone who wrote a Bluetooth stack 22 years ago I would have never thought BT had the bandwidth for this fidelity. My BT phone to car stereo sure as stinky stuff doesn't. Only problem is when they are loose enough to be comfortable they tend to slide off when I bend over, like when stretching I need to grab my ankle. Solution? When bending over use one hand to hold them in place. They look and feel like cheap plastic so I'll take good care of them. But for the money, yeah, 2 thumbs up with 5 stars between them.

Audiophile Friendly
Before buying this headset I read several reviews by tech outlets as I was a little suspicious, the brand is a bigger-than-the-usual name, but the price was too low to be true. Then I found a review by PC Magazine that called them audiophile friendly, and that's exactly what this headphones are. I would consider them a nice introductory set to the audiophile world. The sound is very clean and defined, and as much as I tried, I could not make it to distort in any frequency, which should be rather easy as I'm a classic rock fan. Listening to old Yes semi orchestral tracks was really nice, instruments come clear and voice does not fade. The phone application does a decent job of allowing you to set your equalization, which is a plus, although it seems a little simplistic for the more advanced user (my old equalizers back in the 80s had way more bands of frequencies to work with). Now, as many reviewers have noticed, the bass could be better, but all in all, is not deficient, just sufficient. The earcups are also smaller than I expected, but not totally uncomfortable, so, today, just after my purchase, I have already been around 10 hours listening with not much to complain about. Regarding noise cancellation, these headphones are not the ones to be used to exercise or just walking around, but more to spend an afternoon in your balcony relaxing, so, although not very good in that front, it is not a feature I'm missing a lot here. In summary, remember that this is actually a sub $50 dollar headphone, so, for that price, it is a real steal. Now, if you are more on the professional or real audiophile side, you will need to be prepared to pay what that quality demand requires.

Great sound, middling microphone
I have been trying to get a set of over ear Bluetooth headphones (without the microphone boom) for working. I'm in Zoom meetings all day so I want something more comfortable than my Tozo earbuds, BUT the microphone needs to be pretty high quality. This is the THIRD pair of headphones I bought in my quest, and the third I'm returning (Sorry Amazon). The sound quality is exactly what you would expect from Sennheiser - Excellent. I haven't heard my music through high quality cans like this for a long time. Lots of bass, good mid and high ranges. But when I tested the microphone (recorded myself via Zoom) they were better than the really cheap headphones I previously bought, but still pretty garbled and muffled. Playing a clip I recorded using my earbuds vs these was a night and day difference. They feel pretty cheap and loose, but that's to be expected from Sennheisers at this price point. Also note that these are on-ear, not over-ear. The ear cups are pretty small. There is no padding on the headband, but they're really light, so I don't see that being a big deal. All in all they're nice headphones for the price if you want to listen to music and have the occasional call, but they are not suited for professional use in daily Zoom meetings. My quest continues...

Comfortable, I like the sound and at a reasonable price
I've been a Sennheiser fan for years with ear buds. Decided to give these a try. Good, full sound. Comfortable and easy BT pairing. If I have anything to complain about it's that the bass is a bit too heavy. I used the equalizer setting in my tablet and MP3 player to drop it a bit and boost mid and high levels. I'm pleased with the sound and find the price very reasonable for the sound I get. Haven't used them yet to the point I've exhausted the batteries so I'm happy about that as well. Now I need a sign with my name on it so the nurse can find me in the doctor's waiting room while listening to these and reading a book.

Clumsy Girl Approved ™
It's been almost a year and six months and I'm here to say, I drop these at least once a week, dropped it from the second floor once, last week, I left it on the ground in the snow after work and thought I lost it. I would it three days later and it was fine. TMI, I also dropped it in a toilet bowl more than once. It withstood the six rounds of sanitation. It sometimes has static and I have to restart my phone so I have no idea where that problem is from. The sound is just okay. Better than Walmart or Target brands but not ad good as higher end Sennheisers. It's a great day to day to day headphone. The fitting is wiggly over my ears, hence all the dropping, not snug at all. So, I wouldn't use it for runs since I'd have to keep readjusting. The call microphone isn't great either. The battery is still as good as when I got them. For reference, I use these everyday. I got them for $35 and I recommend it to all the klutz clumsy folks out there who know that we can't afford to trust ourselves with expensive equipment

Impressed With These Phones
My first pair on headphones was a pair of Koss Pro 4 purchased in 1965 and I’ve had my share of phones since then. That said these are one of the better sounding units in my experiences. Nice tight base without booming, good midrange and defined treble. Did not want active noise canceling phones so the 250 fit the bill. They do a good job of passive noise suppression, exactly what I wanted. Actually pretty small and light weight so they are comfortable to wear. Overall: I’m pleased with my purchase and highly recommend them. Updated 2/5/23. After several months of use these are so uncomfortable with tight oppressive ear pain that I’m changing my overall rating to (3) stars.

Great sound - wish they lasted
***Update: The left speaker intermittently started cutting out. Tapping the right side would temporarily restore the audio. Contacted Sennheiser. They opened a case and that's the last I heard from them. Not worth the hassle to pursue service/replacement for what at the time were $40 headphones. (now they're $69) I just bought another brand. Looking at other reviews for this product and problems people had, I'd spend my money elsewhere. I've had these for about a week. The sound quality is quite good, which is to be expected from Sennheiser. I prefer over-the-ear headphones because earbuds fall out of my ears and just don't feel comfortable. These are quite light and comfortable to wear for hours at a time. The cups are small enough to fit under the warm comfy hat I wear in cold weather when walking outdoors. The battery life seems pretty spectacular. I've charged them once and used them for a total of perhaps 4 hours and the battery is still at 80% They quickly and easily paired with my Windows PC, Android phone, and Android tablet. I have used them for phone calls and Teams calls and people can't tell I'm using a BT headset. No one has complained about the microphone quality. The BlueTooth is smart enough to handle listening to music from one device and mute the audio when a call comes in from a second device, at least until you answer it. Now for the things I find annoying: -The Sennheiser app you must use to adjust the built-in equalizer. The app itself is okay, but I don't like having to register just to use it. Use a fake name and disposable email address. -I wish these folded for travel or came with a hard case. Not really a complaint for the price paid. -Noise cancelling would be nice. (again, not really a complaint for the price) -An option to connect with a cord would be nice. (again not a complaint - I knew what I was buying) -My only real, relevant complaint: If you're connected to multiple devices and you go out of range of one, the headphones will remind you incessantly every 30 seconds or so that you've "lost connection", even if the device is miles in your rear view mirror at that point. I wish there was a way to turn this reminder off, though turning the headphones off and back on again and letting them pair again with the remaining device(s) makes the nag go away. -Oh, and the fake British voice that this and so many BT audio devices seem to use to report information is not terrible, but mildly annoying.

Balanced sound with iPhone
Works as advertised with my iphone13 using Apple’s AAC codec. Price is reasonable and the device looks well made. I can’t see a confirmation of the headphone codec but the sound is much better than the base level subband (SBC) codec that works on all Bluetooth audio devices. There is no reason to invest in a more expensive headset with aptX or aptxHD since iPhones don’t support them. Compared to the similar BT over ear JBL model sound is subjectively brighter- not so much boomy base.

Firm bass. Decent trebles.
Good seal on ears while not as painful on the ears as some others. Sound is a notch better than generic headphones. Deep bass sounds solid and not muzzled. Treble is clear though I wish it can be more emphasised. But at this price point, I’m happy with the offering.

The sound is crystal clear specially if you download their app you can choose many sound combination that you like, then the battery is very good you can use it for 2days without turning it off, next you can connect to 2 gadgets at the same time, and lastly the mic is also good for making calls or videocalls they can hear you clearly👍⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cons: no comments all goods👍

Fantastic Headphones!
Comfortable, lightweight, great sound, easy to use, fast Bluetooth pairing, and a simple/intuitive equalizer app. No active noise cancellation, but with music playing even at a nominal volume, outside noises are greatly reduced or eliminated. Great job, Sennheiser - highly recommended!
