P&J Fragrance Oil - Sandalwood 100ml - Candle Scents, Soap Making, Diffuser Oil, Body Care

Absolutely and unquestionably my favorite scented oil. I use mine in place of cologne and find its staying power is much longer than regular cologne. Its smell is very subtle. A little bit goes a long way!

I've tried a few different sandalwood EOs and FOs, I haven't come across one *yet* that wasn't at least decent, but this one? It's excellent. Scent: Do you like sandalwood? Does that soft woodsy, yet powdery smell give you all the warm feels? Then this is for you. Upon opening it you feel like you just got kicked in the face with sandalwood goodness. Definitely worth using for perfume oils and soaps because if you don't cut this oil people are going to be expecting you to mumble "I am groot" when they smell you. Value: You can't beat it, at least not on here. You may be able to buy it in bulk cheaper, but for small soap or scented oil endeavors where you need to test things out I haven't found a better price that comes with quality like this product. Longevity: The scent sticks. I've got soap that I made and while I've never had an issue with sandalwood sticking, this oil seems to have stuck strong. I'll have to check it in another couple months after it's fully cured, but so far no complaints whatsoever. Overall: Definitely worth buying if you have home crafts you're doing that require a sandalwood scent. It's a good price for a solid amount of quality product.

i create my own body oils with these and haven’t been disappointed yet. this is a creamy, almost fresh sandalwood scent. it’s easy to use in body products and while it’s strong enough for me, it’s inoffensive and perfect when diluted as it should be. even though i create body products, this would smell so amazing in a candle. so relaxing.

I don’t think I have had the pleasure of experiencing the actual fragrance of sandalwood for two decades. I have even tried buying an expensive brand of essential oil that was dependable in the past, but that didn’t deliver the fragrance either. I know this is a fragrance oil and not an essential oil, but even still, I would have expected it to replicate the smell of sandalwood to an extent. It actually brings to mind a spicy men’s aftershave lotion or cologne. Since I am not averse to that type of fragrance I am keeping it to use in an essential oil diffuser. It wasn’t expensive and I don’t dislike it so why would I cause a lot of bother for everyone involved by returning it? I hope that I’m able to find the actual sandalwood fragrance that is remaining elusive at some point in my lifetime. Until then, I plan to use this bottle of fragrance oil and continue my search.

Some essential oil scents don’t last, but P&J oils smell wonderful, and have staying power. It also takes less product to achieve the scent level you’re looking for.

I do not know what happened, but this current batch of P&J fragrance oils sucks! Big time. I’ve been buying these oils since June 2018 according to my Amazon previous purchases. I love these things. In fact, I don’t wear perfume. I wear these fragrance oils and people compliment my sent all the time. But this current batch that I purchased in December is horrible. I have tried to contact the seller and they will not contact me back. I have tried to return to Amazon, and I am unable to do so for some reason. The current ones smell like a weak version of their older selves and a combination of alcohol like rubbing alcohol. I am totally dissatisfied and want to return and can not get anyone to contact me back. I hope that this post is seen by the company and someone contact me because it’s really tragic. Please do better these cents have been amazing for years and now they are crap or if I got a bad batch, please just contact me so I can get new ones and return this poor excuse of fragrance oil. DO BETTER, PLEASE!

It diffuses beautifully and you only need a teeny tiny drop before you feel you like you’ve fallen into those big old fashioned powder puffs my mother used in the 80’s. I don’t really smell sandalwood, like I’ve said, I only smell powder but it’s a lot nicer scent then some other bottles I have that claim to be sandalwood. Normally I’m a 20-30 dropper kinda girl for sandalwood because it’s such a light scent but with this stuff, one drop fills my entire floor from my diffuser.
