The only socks I can buy these days that fit right! I first bought these in 2014,and many of the 4 bags of them I bought then are still wearable since they are so durable! Literally every other socks I've bought in recent years don't fit right, even though they said they were "my size"! So I went deep into my order history and ordered the same ones I bought in 2014 -- i bought one pack and liked them then so much I bought 3 more bags after -- and I let out a cry of joy when these came today & got the first good fit from new socks in six years! If you like me have had this problem, GET THESE, you won't be disappointed!!! :D

Good quality and fit

In the past, I've always preferred Gold Toe Men's Fluffies socks, but they have gotten so expensive that I decided to try Hanes Classic Cushion Crew Socks as an alternative. I found the Hanes socks to be quite comfortable, though not quite as comfortable and stretchy as the Gold Toe socks. They are also a little shorter than Gold Toe socks, and a little thicker. (The extra thickness may make them better for winter wear.) The only thing that I don't like about the Hanes socks is that they tend to leave lint between my toes. (This is especially noticeable with the black socks.) Still, the Hanes socks are much less expensive than Gold Toe, and I will likely buy them again in the future. UPDATE: After having worn the Hanes socks for several months, I can say that they seem to be quite durable -- at least as durable as Gold Toe socks, and possibly more so. To address the lint problem, I did as one reviewer suggested and washed them inside-out. This eliminated perhaps 70% of the lint on the first such washing, and maybe another 15% on the second. I still get a little lint between my toes, but not enough to be really bothersome.

Good fit & comfortable I buy these often

The question you must ask yourself is who is more of a looser? You for actually reading reviews of socks online, or me for doing the same, ordering them, and then writing a product review of said socks. The answer is both of us. I bought socks online, as for some reason I convinced myself that I was saving time by doing so. They arrived a couple of days later, and I put them through the 8 hour work test the next day. The saddest part of this story is that they are amazing socks. They are comfortable and plush, without being too tight around my plus sized ankle. After one day of wearing these socks, I noticed less fatigue when I arrived home. With all the talk of orthopedics and proper arches, we often do not consider that sock comfort is shockingly important in our day to day busy lives. These hold up wonderfully. I have been wearing and washing them for weeks now, with no sign of wear or degrade, and they still remain incredibly comfortable. I am slightly sickened to give socks a 5 star review, but Haynes has earned it. You will not regret this purchase, though the psychological impact of feeling sad and alone after receiving your socks in the mail takes months to fully ware off.

Very comfortable and long wearing socks

Spoiler: Hanes were so-so; Gold Toe were great. I wear white cotton crew socks basically every day, two pairs on workout days. I wear them with high-impact athletic shoes, work/walking shoes, and occasionally heavy work boots. I want them to last (no holes, no saggy tops), I want them to be comfortable, and I want a fair value for my money. So when I retired my old inventory nearly two years ago, I picked up five different brands of white crew socks. Durability: As I wore the socks, I tried to be very diligent about 'rotating stock' -- pulling socks to wear from the right-side of the drawer, putting in freshly-laundered ones on the left. In theory, they all received about the same amount of wear-and-tear. Wigwam (2/5): Unraveled at the top quickly -- after the first washing, three socks; after the third or fourth, almost every sock had loose tops. These thick socks took around a year before I started seeing holes in the toes or heel. Under Armour (4/5): Some unraveling around the 8 or 9 month mark, no holes until year two. Fruit of the Loom (3/5): Little unraveling, but heels thinned before the end of the first year, leading to holes. Hanes Cushion Crew (3/5): Modest unraveling, but moderate holes at toes and heels around the 9-12 month mark. Gold Toe Cotton Crew Athletic (5/5): Outstanding -- so far, no unraveling; two toe holes, one heel hole. Comfort: There's two factors for me -- first, softness; second, thickness/padding. Also, I'm not looking for a compression sock (like for when I fly, or if I develop CHF) -- nothing *too* tight (and none of them were). Wigwam (3/5): Very thick (for a crew sock), well-padded; stiff -- even after months of washing, they almost felt starched. Under Armour (5/5): Good thickness; started soft, became even softer after a few washes. Fruit of the Loom (3/5): Felt slightly thin; good softness. Hanes Cushion Crew (4/5): Good thickness; slightly stiff, but not as bad as Wigwam). Gold Toe Cotton Crew Athletic (5/5): Thick, but not too thick; softest out-of-the-plastic, and better as time went by. Hanes brand products are very good quality and last for a long time.

These live up to the quality I expect from Haynes and fit well.

The socks were very comfortable and felt very soft on feet. They did not stretch over time which was a huge surprise! The look really great as well, simple socks. Satisfied <3
