LED 3rd Brake Lights Tailgate Rear Lamp for Jeep Wrangler JK JKU 07-17 2 pcs (Red)

The only thing I can say negative is these are NOT plug and play. If you plug them when they will both blink at the same time and not with the r or l blinker. They do provide enough wire to reroute it to the r and l blinker, but that’s not something I would do but my husband knows electrical and cars so he did it himself. They are as bright as our brakes (so not over powering). They fit perfectly in place. I have never seen these before on anyone’s jeep so I love that they are so unique. Honestly idk how much he spent on them, they just showed up. But the work well (now that he re-wired one) no flickering that we have noticed and no electrical issues.

Worked great!!!! I only wired in the Brake, Reverse and Turn signal. Did not use them as running lights as I wanted them to stand out when hitting the brakes. Looks like it came from the factory, cant tell it is an aftermarket add-on. Have had the installed for a couple of years and still work well.

Great fit and easy to install. Will require additional wiring to work properly. For those of you that think this willl be plug and play it is not. The wires terminate in bare ends. Install both lights. The left light is the one with the larger wire harness. On the right one you will need to cut and extend the red wire to correct the issue of both lights blinking with the turn signal on. Run the main harness down through the tub to the left tail light and make your connections. On the right side extend your red wire only down to the right side tail light and tap into the right side turn signal wire. After doing this they will work perfectly.

Not a direct wire product. I was more interested in the third brake light function. Did not chase left and right blinkers. Would have had to run an additional wire from one side to the other. I also abandoned the reverse light function.. tested it and it was not very bright at all. I ended up wiring them directly to the third brake light harness. I got what I needed.

No instructions! I have the ability to splice the wires but it would be nice if I knew where to splice them.

Read the reviews they will work for stop and reverse. If you want them to function as directionals as well, you will have to cut and run a new wire. It's not that hard. get a T trailer splitter and it will direct connect to the harness on the driver's side rear lamp. Then run it through the grommet where the rear hardtop power supply plug is. I added a 5-pn connector here so I could unplug to remove the hardtop. On the lights, take the wire (I think its red) that runs to the right (passenger) light and snip it at the Y. From here run your new line and tie it into the right lamp terminal on the clip added. Then just hide your wires. Works great

Works great for that extra visibility for night driving to drivers behind you.
