Did you try searching for this? It is on their labels, it is listed on wiki but here's what I see on the label & list from wiki:

What specific ingredient in this produces a feeling of increased energy?

Hi Bibliophile777 - the only supplement that I find in Airborne that would give an energy boost would be the magnesium but the daily dose needs to be around 300-350 mg per day to make a difference & Airborne only has 40 mg.  Airborne also does not have any of the more common energy boosters like B6, B12, L-Carnitine, Biotin, Guarana just to name a few. Since you have experienced a "positive" taking Airborne, I wish I knew what that ingredient might be because you could bottle it and help millions of people. If I find any info, I will post it. How is this compared to the original dissolve in water version?

The one which dissolve in water are mainly for when you have symptoms of a cold.  I take the chewables everyday and feel like they help me stay ahead of colds.

Although I've never counted them, I believe what is stated on the bottle.  We swear by this product.  We take one before going out in public and one when returning home.  Haven't had any sign of a cold or flu in 5 years.
