Should have it's on power button to control it
Bad because you can't turn it on/off with out radio. Making it have a loud bang sound in your speakers when you do turn radio on

Simple install, true performance, very affordable.
This is installed as part of an almost-all-Blaupunkt system purchased almost exclusively for affordability reasons. It mounts very easily under-dash in a flash with 2 common screws. And that is it. This unit has the standard connections for12 Volt power/remote/ground. Then it receives all the signals from your head unit and any auxilliary unit and sorts it all out. And there is where boring ends! I mean this thing cost under $40.00!!?? This model, the whole system really, is kind of amazing. This almost-all Blaupunkt system (Head Unit/Graphic Equalizer/Bass Processor/Powered Subwoofer/2-6x9 Subs/2-6x9 4-Ways/4-6.5" Coaxials) together with a Taramps amp and a set of SKAR Tweeters, produces attention-getting volume that is not distorted but responsive and crisp, and this unit is what "organizes" that sound. So, judging from my experience, you can overlook this surprisingly well performing model only, as they say, "At your own peril".
