Oster 10-Piece Stainless Steel Pet Clipper Guide Comb Kit (078936-100-000)

I love these! But, for some reason the smallest guide broke only the time I used it! Very disappointing.

Good quality, good price point, easy to clean, and love the amount of different sizes! I also like how each of the sizes are a different color so that they're easy to distinguish from one another and switch between them/find the one you want while using. Recommend for anyone brave enough to skip the groomer give their dog a cut themselves 😅 These will definitely save you a tonnnn of money if you take them to a professional often!!

Pet clipper? Nah! I use them on my Oster clippers to do my own hair. They work very well. They’re accurate and quality built. Saves me a lot of money not going to a barber.

Love the sizes!!! Fits so nice i got this as an upgrade for my andis set and i wish i had these for my wide blades too!! Obsessed! And for some reason the colorsmake me so happy

I wish I had done more research before purchasing this set. I was very happy about the 2” comb because I have a long haired doodle that we groom ourselves and it’s very hard to find a set with longer combs. There are a lot of different size options, but although I purchased a set of clippers that said was compatible with the combs, our dog’s hair gets stuck stuck in between the comb and the clippers and makes for a very uncomfortable experience for both of us. Additionally, I was putting one of the combs on the clippers and all of a sudden a spring popped out of the comb and the entire comb feel to pieces. The metal combs themselves are somewhat on the flimsy side, so just be aware of that when you get them home.

The combs will fit onto your Oster A5 2 speed clipper for sure. The kit does not come with instructions but this is how you put the comb to your clipper. The comb is Spring Loaded so you can actually push/pull on the back of the comb metal part lightly. It attaches to the clipper perfectly. There is a video on YouTube that shows you how to install and remove the spring loaded comb. It is really not that hard. Overall, I like this comb kit. It costs a bit more than the plastic ones but you do get what you pay for. Be sure to take care of your tools and the tools will take care of you and your pet. Good luck.

I purchased these guide combs from a groomer's referral. They are not perfect, but they are the only reputable set that can be used on my goldendoodle to keep a longer length other than hand scissoring. I use these with my Andis AG 2-speed clipper and they fit perfect. I do not like the spring attachment, it feels like it could easily break if you aren't careful when switching blades. No problems combing through the hair, as long as you go through the hair with a fine tooth metal comb beforehand. It won't make your puppy hold still, but these guide combs do make it an easier job!

These combs do fit Andis Excel 5-Speed Model #SMS Clippers. At first I didn’t think they fit, but then I figured out that the metal prongs in the back side of the comb slide out to expand the size of the combs to fit right over the SMC clipper blade. So they fit great and work great and for much less cost than other combs. This set has 10 combs including a 50mm/2” length comb and a 38mm/1.5” comb. These longer length combs aren’t common in combs sets, so if you like to cut your animals hair longer like 1.5” to 2”, this is the comb set for you. If you don’t need the longer 1.5” and 2” combs, there is another comb set on Amazon for less money by Shernbao. It’s an 8-comb metal comb set that also fits the Andis Model SMC Excel 5-speed clippers. The combs appear to be sturdy and well built, alt high I haven’t used them long-term so I can’t speak to their long-term durability. They do have all metal on the comb tines and metal on the part that clips on to the blade. The colored plastic part really doesn’t do much other than color code the combs and provide a plastic covering over some of the metal. The combs come in a nice plastic case.

I've been using these comb attachments for 4 months, and I'm super happy with them! Absolutely no regrets. Great product.

Llegó en excelentes condiciones ☺️ Muy buena calidad

This was the first time I have clipped my Golden Doodle and I found the guides easy to use and they fit securely to my Clippers. I used several guides from the longest to the shortest to get the desired finnish. I would not have known what length guide to purchase individualy so the full range was very useful. They will pay for themselves after just a few trims rather than using the dog groomers. I would recommend them.
