I installed the battery to my suzuki gz250, and my motorcycle won't start. lights won't come on at all. do i need to add acid?

No these batteries are sealed and should be ready to go but they are junk. I had to get a refund on mine and buy something else.

Will this work on a ninja 400?

Only in warm weather and Ideal circumstances......This battery is capable of 85 CCAs (cold cranking amps) ...your OEM battery was capable of 120 CCA.....it would work if you like bump starting your bike when it is cold......take your chances.....

Will this work for a 1988 Yamaha fzr750 motorcycle?

George, It will power your lights on but when you hit the starter button...it won't crank the engine.....This battery has 85 cold cranking amps...your Yamaha requires a battery with ~ 500 CCA....ebay has a Yuasa GYZ32HL for ~ $88.00 This is the battery you need.....Yuasa are great batteries!
