Good loft option for older children, 9 and upโฆ
So, we bought this before extensively reading reviews, then got super concerned about previous buyersโ problems with the construction and assembly. However, we followed instructions, used our own higher quality tools during assembly and had zero issues or concerns in the end. Our son loves this bed, hasnโt complained about the ladder beyond saying he needs to climb a certain way, and getting in and out is not really an issue for a 9-11 year old child (for littles, I can see it being a little difficult or intimidating and a bother for certain worrisome parents). Storage underneath is an awesome use of space, the height is not too tall for an average sized room height and not too short to make the space underneath useless. Overall, the stability and build quality is what youโd expect at this price point. Would buy again.

One of the easiest assemblies I've done
I am a 115 pound 41 year old woman. I bought this twin loft for myself because our house has a very odd layout and the only expandable space is upwards. The package arrived, and I was able to assemble the bed, by myself, in about 2 hours. You really need to have a second person towards the end when it's time to connect the two sides, but it CAN be done by one person if you have good spatial reasoning. I left the upper front rail off, as the ladder doesn't give me enough clearance to clamber over the rails. The bed should definitely be anchored to the wall; if you have drywall or protruding baseboards, you'll need to procure your own wall anchors, which is totally acceptable. The bed is pretty sturdy even without the anchors (which I am getting today). I have it positioned over a full sized bed, both facing the same way. I just slid the loft over the top of the bed; the back rail mid-way up is the same height as the full bed I have underneath. The only concern I have is the mattress rails and the little plastic toggles that go along the center of them. They seem to be a little flimsy. As stated above, I'm 115 pounds, and I got up there after I positioned the loft in order to put the back rail on. The bed held my weight, but the little plastic toggles would slip off. They're shaped to fit into one another; one end has one hook, the other end has 2 with a space between them. The weak spots seem to be the end with only one hook. I'm going to look into getting something to reinforce the slats better. Overall, this is a good loft and I had absolute no problems understanding the instructions. Just pay attention to the pictures, and look ahead if you don't understand something, but I highly recommend this loft.

Thumb-Destroying, Wiggly-Wobbly, Cat Palace
Very good bed for the price, in my opinion! Super easy to assemble for one person alone, even standing it upright and moving it around. Plenty of spare hardware, too! Some things I will HIGHLY suggest for the assembly process: 1, obey the directions. Do not get ahead of yourself, no matter how much you might want to jump the gun and juuust put that ooone little part in before the other. And obey the directions when they tell you not to tighten the screws all they way until you're done. Trust me on this. And 2, no matter what the other reviews say, DO NOT SKIP THE LITTLE GREY SQUARES!!! They are absolutely vital to the integrity and stability of the bed! Prepare your thumbs, because it WILL hurt like hell. Use something to apply pressure to help snap them in that will save your fingers, but DON'T hammer them!! Now, the bed is pretty stable for a loft bed, but could stand to be a lot better, like a thin bar across the floor to keep the front legs a little more secure. The height is great, even for a lower ceiling. I can sit up just fine and not bump my head, and was able to fit a full desk under the bed on one side, and a full size table on the other, with plenty of room for my rolling chair underneath and plenty of head room. It's an INCREDIBLE space saver! My only problems with the bed are that it's scarily wobbly, especially when climbing up. If you have any kind of molding on your baseboard, the bed is going to be a bit further from the wall than you'll want. The L brackets included will not reach, and you'll have to get creative with how you secure it to said wall. Make SURE you secure it to studs only. Even secured though, it's still frighteningly wobbly, so be aware of that. Every tiny movement you make, you WILL feel dramatically in the entirety of the bed. It's very audibly creaky, too. It is the shakiest when climbing up into the bed, and the lack of a dip or space in the railing makes it a bit of an annoying challenge to get in and out of. My other complaint is shared by everyone else in that the ladder rungs are INCREDIBLY narrow, at best approx 5/8ths of an inch diameter, and are very painful on the feet. They're also super smooth and offer zero traction. HOWEVER, my biggest complaint is that the motion of climbing in and out happens to force the rungs to loosen and turn little by little, unscrewing them from the ladder. Climbing up one night, the middle rung turned on its screws and rotated inward like a smooth little conveyor belt roll, flinging my leg through and causing me to fall. If I hadn't had an excellent grip on the top rail at the time, I absolutely would have broken that leg. Thankfully I was only left with a substantial amount of paint. So, daily tightening of the rungs is what I'm reduced to, and considering a contact cement on the bolts. Instead of the pool noodle trick most folks do to make the rungs more comfortable, I instead chose a route of safety, and used reflective-striped non-skid stick-on stuff used for outdoor stairs, cut into strips that fit the rungs and circled them around completely. This way has kept my feet from slipping off and makes me more aware if the rungs start to become slightly loose again. Definitely recommend this trick, especially more than pool noodles which can also themselves spin around the rungs. All-in-all, decent product, even for an adult like me, which is great for anyone who doesn't mind climbing into and out of it. Excellent for anyone in college who needs to save space in small living quarters. I prefer the top bunk in a military barracks to this loft bed, is that says anything, but it's not the worst bed by any means. Definitely recommend it over anything a certain large Swedish store sells for your own assembly. It's the perfect game changer for a tiny room, regardless of your age. Just know that if you have to pee in the middle of the night, you will hate life. If you get thirsty, then it sucks to be you. If you have diarrhea, vomiting, or are drunk, then you're better off sleeping on the floor. Do NOT use ANY amount of haste getting in or out of this bed, period. It's really a pain to get in and out of, due to the height of the railing that sticks up higher than the mattress. If you have male anatomy, you're going to rack it multiple times, and there's no avoiding that. Even as a female, there's no avoiding it. Despite it's flaws, it's actually the best loft bed I've found, especially for the price, after doing a LOT of research. I do recommend it, just beware that nothing is perfect. Cat absolutely loves it.

Great value, some assembly required
I've been using this loft bed for over 2 months now and I am pretty happy with it. Good stability, decent quality and finish and simply does what I bought if for: Giving me a place to sleep while freeing up the space underneath to put my computer and art table. I am a pretty small adult (120lbs)and my bedroom is tiny, so this works great. The assembly was a bit odd, as certain parts were mis-labeled and the drawings were somewhat incorrect in detailed areas. But being the nerd that I am, I read the instruction manual first and modified it to my needs. There were plenty of spare parts and I put it together in under 3 hour (by myself). The plastic sealing tabs holding the bed base bars were a bit stiff, so I bent them a bit using a locking wrench, and they went in easier (saved my thumbs). Also there were a few holes that were outside their tolerance level, so I had to bend the bars a bit to get the screws in place. But not bad, if you have a wall to lean against and some good old fashioned elbow grease. Overall, I like this bed. It's a great value for the money, and with a little head work and a friend to help you, assembly should be a snap.

Great loft bed
Order 2 loft beds. Easy to put together. My kids only complaint was the metal ladder. They said the ladders metal bars hurt their feet when climbing up to bed. Other them that thereโs no issues with the loft beds.

This is your sign GET IT
I got this bed for my room, My room is soooo small, I've rearranged it sooo many times but was never satisfied. I realized the problem was my bed. I came across these loft beds which I never knew existed. This is one of the best purchases Ive made. My room is HUGE. Im in such shock at how much room and space this bed saves. Ill upload photos later but I had to leave a review. I saw a lot of mixed reviews most people said they loved it some complained about it wobbling. Idk if its my mattress or what but this bed does not wobble. I mean maybe slightly when your climbing up but not enough that its noticeable or feels unstable. They also provide you with the pieces to hook it up to your wall if that was an issue for some people. Assembly was easy, but I needed my dads help whose name is going to show on this review lol. And yes the ladder hurts. I thought people were exaggerating but your feet do hurt when climbing up. But that's an easy fix. Bed does not look cheap at all, it looks so great. All pieces arrived without a problem, nothing was missing, nothing was dent, nothing was rusted. Im 20 years old and about 5'9 the twin sized loft is perfectly spacious for me.I hope this helped anyone who was thinking of getting it!!!

If what you need is inexpensive and sturdy, buy this bed. If you want easy assembly, run.
It feels sturdy and looks pretty good, but assembly was an absolute nightmare. At first it was just a bad dream, but more than halfway through the assembly process I started finding bolt holes that didn't line up. I wasn't about to give in and let it win, so I soon found myself trapped in a horror movie in which I had to use my entire body as a sort of wedge to line the holes up long enough to barely screw in the bolts. This was done in short shifts during which bolts were often dropped or dislodged, and made putting the bed together take a couple hours. The other problem with this bed was one of the features I actually liked. The pieces are numbered so you can follow the directions more easily. That's great except that the number stickers seemed to have been haphazardly thrown at the pieces. Some stickers were attached to the protective sleeves, some to the pieces themselves, and one was floating in the package. One type of piece (luckily the most easily identified) wasn't numbered at all. Out of the six ladder rungs, not one had a number anywhere to be found. The stickers that were attached to the parts are all still attached to the finished bed in some amount, although I shredded a few before giving up. My son will have to remove them over time, which drives me half insane- it looks terrible, but after using myself as a specialty tool in building this bed, I was (and still am) too over it to fight with the stickers. Still, it's a good bed now that it's done, so it deserves the stars I gave it.

Very nice quality at a very reasonable price!
Edit 7/15/2017: This is STILL going strong! Still sturdy, nothing's loosened up. Highly recommend!!!! I like to give furniture a little while before I write reviews on it, I bout this bed ehh about 4 months ago for my tween who is sharing a room with her baby sister. We decided it would give them more space to put the crib and stuff below this. While I will say putting this together was frustrating at times (I did it mostly alone though making it much more difficult than if you had two people) this bed has really held up well! I have 4 kids total and they have literally made make-shift swings, climbed up and down hundreds of times, it's been shaken, moved, everything the kids can manage to do and I have yet to have to tighten a screw or anything. It doesn't even move when my 100lb daughter gets up there. I picked this particular model because of the ladder and I thought this type would prevent my 18 month old from climbing up it, it doesn't, but at least she can't get on the top bed because you have to step over the rails on the top. It's definitely not the easiest to do, but my kids handle it like it's nothing. The color is very nice and all of my pieces aligned up well (this is big! I've had pieces almost complete and then had to take it back for this purpose!!) This is my 2nd piece of furniture from this particular brand (we have a desk as well) and I highly recommend it. Very nice quality at a very reasonable price!

Versatile space-saving sleeping space
We bought this to maximize the sleeping spaces in our tiny mobile home bedrooms. Were able to squish a Twin XL mattress into it, but it really takes a Twin. Pros: - ladders at both ends of bed make it versatile for positioning - it can fit over a queen bed. Inside Length is 78", so if your queen is not longer than this, it may be able to fit length wise over the bed, as well as over the head. - light enough that it can be moved quite easily around once it is assembled. - straightforward assembly (my husband did it singlehandedly) - no defects in paint or otherwise Cons: - not sure an adult would feel secure sleeping on it. It wobbled a lot when I (155 lb. woman) climbed up on it to make the bed - the ladder is a bit tricky to dismount from with the rail going all around the entire circumference, rails may be a bit hard on tender feet

Very pleased
Really impressed with this loft bed. We purchased it for my daughter's room to save space and it definitely helps. My husband and I built the bed with ease, the instructions were very straight forward and it took less than hour to assemble it. The ladder is a bit tricky, however my daughter has managed to figure it out. I would definitely recommend this bed to someone looking for an affordable, well built option.

Solid but a bit shakey
Solid frame, great support setup. It is roughly 6 feet tall and only has 4 small points of contact (the legs). The cross beams do a good job of supporting/stabalizing the bed, but the frame should definately be secured to the wall or with something sturdy to brace against. You can fit a Full/Double bed with an end table or possibly a queen size bed, under this frame which is pretty great. It is tall enough that an adult can sit on a bed underneithe without issue. It appears to have holes cut for "optional accessories"... possibly some sort of desk attachment... but it does not mention what the "optional accessories" actually are. It DOES however come with gray plastic caps to cover a few of the opion connections, as well as screws to fill in the other holes. It can rock quite a bit when mt 6 year old climbs up or moves around, but if it is secured to the wall there shouldbe no issue Assembly was simple and straight forward, took around an hour or 2 to throw it together. After a week of use, none of the bolts have loosened which is impressive when compared to the rocking. Overall i would highly recommend this as an alternative to a traditional bunk bed, With the ability to fit another bed underneith you can find what you like, and you wont need to lose both levels if you have a problem with the top or bottm.
