Great quality and looks so cute on my bookshelf. No more bulky game boxes taking up space in a closet when this can be displayed cutely on a book shelf.

I have happily played this with family in my own home, and then took to a friend's to play. It was easy to transport, and an immediate conversation piece because of the quality and uniqueness. I love the thoughtful details, like the extra score pad and Scrabble pencil. When you sit down to play you don't need to get up for anything else! We were all immediately impressed with the cream/linen cover. It displays like a beautiful old bound library book. Thick cardboard, with a cloth linen finish, and that is just the box! I liked the S1 at the bottom of the "binding", it reminds me of something old world, like the periodic table in Chemistry. Very simple and elegant. Its a compact quality board that folds into 6. I also like the thick linen bag, and the quality wooden letter pieces that are included in as well. Makes it very tidy to pass around as each player selects their letter tiles. I highly recommend, and would make a great gift or conversation piece for anyone who loves Scrabble. Apparently you can get a whole array of board games fashioned like this if you want a "library" collection of vintage board games. I highly recommend!

This takes pride of place on my book shelf.

We love that these all line up beautifully on the shelf and look so well organized. They do not take up as much space as the bulky boxes the games usually come in which are also different sizes and look terrible all piled up in the corner. These are very good quality and I am sure we will buy more of them over time to replace all our classic games.
