Worked very well on mid size truck springs. Keep in mind they don't debur the sharp edges on the stamped component.

Easy to use - worked well on upgraded 1/2 ton truck springs without any drama. The hooks work well and seat securely, the pitch on the screw makes cranking the springs down easy, and the overall design prevents any drama with bending parts. The "safety device" of a half moon ring is of questionable use, but overall the kit is great and great value.

En realidad este compresor funcionó para el propósito y auto que lo compré (Peugeot XS 206 1.6L 8V), recomiendo usar grasa anti traba de nickel o cobre (Anti-Seize) en mi caso usé el de nickel y funcionó perfecto en la cuerda de este compresor, tardé en hacer la reseña pues no lo había usado hasta hace poco, lo adquirí aquí en Amazon, en realidad me parece un compresor para uso ligero, quizá pueda con los resortes de algunas camionetas y suv, pero el vehículos más pesados quizá no sea adecuada, aunque no lo aseguraría pues no lo he probado en los resortes de mi Jeep KJ.

This tool feels safe at use. The 2 cocentric tubes slidding on each other take all the bending efforts generated by the compression; the screw is not getting bent like different models. That design makes this tool safe and robust. Furthermore, the 2 parts jaw with the screw ring to tigh it up prevents the tool to slip on the spring. One of the best if not the best spring compressor on Amazon, do not let the out of common design fool you, buy that tool you wont regret it! It did work effortlessly for my hyundai accent, it can definitly handle bigger springs. Great money value!

A much more controlled experience than using cheap spring compressors.

Item is very sturdy and easy to use. Used it to compress my Acura RDX strut springs with no difficulty.
