Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Roller Floor Mop, White/Blue

This floor mop works great for removing scuff marks etc. on various types of floors, especially LVP. Eliminates the need to get down on your hands and knees to clean.

I would suggest soaking it for 5 min in the water before wring it out, it softens the mop head. I made the mistake of doing it dry and it tore the mop BUT still worked amazing on our tub and camper awning!

Great but does not scrub as well/hard as a magic eraser sponge in hand.

This is the only mop that will clean my tile floors. The difference was amazing! The replacement mops are expensive but they last quite awhile and they do the job - it was magic for me!

Hard to rank stars on this one. Some good pluses, but also some minuses. On the plus side: *It did what I needed it to do. It got stubborn marks and grime off of my floors—even the textured floors. It takes effort and scrubbing, but it worked better than anything I have tried. *It is basically a big Magic Eraser on a stick,” which is good. It saved me from getting down on hands and knees with a hand sponge. *No problem with the mop construction. Sturdy enough to withstand HARD scrubbing. The mop head showed little wear, despite heavily mopping two rooms. Now, the minuses: Little pilled pieces of the magic eraser are left behind with vigorous scrubbing. I didn’t feel like it absorbed all of the dirt/dirty water, either. I followed up the scrub with another wash with my Swiffer and all was well. So, double work, but I won’t be using the Magic Eraser mop every time, so the occasional double-mopping to get rid of the bad grime is worth it. *The mop head design, and particularly the added scrubber at the top of the head make it difficult to get under the edge of cabinets or closet to appliances. I took the scrub brush off and that helped a little. I am spoiled because Swiffer is so flat, it is super easy to get under things. So, am I glad I bought it? Absolutely. It solved a problem I have been battling for a long time. Will it be my “go-to” every day mop? No. I’ll stick with my Swiffer Wetjet for that.

First, it took 3 weeks to get here. Absurd. Out of the bag (they ship it with just a plastic bag over the mop head), the brush wouldn't attach at the button it's supposed to go on which turned out great anyway since it would've prevented the mop from going under the kitchen cabinets. Next, the wringer handle doesn't work every time - maybe it got knocked around since there is zero protection for this part during shipping. It's very clunky and feels like it's going to break. Caution as the blue tubes on the mop head fill with water as you rinse and when you turn it over it pours water unexpectedly on the floor you just mopped. I used this mop on a professionally installed tile floor. It is wood plank looking so I followed the "grain" direction the tiles were laid. An incredible milky, film was left behind and evident after mopping. The first time I accidentally went across the grain, a big chunk of the white eraser came off the mop head. Finally, the fact that you essentially have to mop twice is a deal killer - you have to dry mop behind the Mr. Clean mop with a clean dry cloth wiping with the grain before the floor dries. But doing that shows you that the floor isn't made clean with the Mr. Eraser mop but by the wiping of the dry cloth afterward. This mop might be good for a patterned vinyl floor. A vinyl floor wouldn't have grout lines that tear the eraser part. But it specifically says it's for tile, stone and marble. I wanted to love this mop but it has so many design flaws and detractions during and after use on a tile floor. I love the concept of cleaning my kitchen floor with this massive Mr. Clean eraser on a stick but then mopping the second time to dry the floor is so much work. And it doesn't look good when you're done! It goes back, missing several chunks doing just the kitchen floor. Back to a regular mop!

Folks! I have been reading a lot of negatives on this mop and the trick is to soak in bucket of water before using. If you use this mop while it’s not real wet or dunk it once without soaking it will tear. Also glide across floor before pressing down. If it’s doesn’t glide it’s not wet enough. Not much pressure is needed for dry erase products to work. BUT it has to be soaked through first. Any less you will be replacing very quickly since it will tear apart!! Works well if done correctly:)
