Good deal, comfortable soft pillow
It's probably unfair of me to review this product as I have yet to use it on a long trip. However, it is very soft yet supportive and seems like it is going to work well. I really like that the cover comes off to wash because you know it picks up all kinds of germs when you travel around/drool on it. It also has a strap so you can strap it to your backpack or bag and walk onto the airplane/bus/train with it. The fabric on the cover itself is also very velvety and was soft and comfortable as I sat on the couch watching TV :) I think solid travel pillows, though they take up more space in your luggage, are the way to go over blow-up pillows because the blow-up ones always seem to deflate and leave you with your neck kinked over onto your shoulder, which you were trying to avoid in the first place. This pillow is squish-able and seems like it would be amenable to being smashed into a bag if you needed to do that instead of strap it to the outside of one. Great price.

Seriously wonderful, comfy, supportive but soft AND adjustable
I didn't think I was a neck pillow person BUT after getting one for my husband, I got one for myself too! They really are as good as they say, in all ways. Not constricting, really supportive but also comforting soft fabric so you can just ease your tired head back or let it support you all day in a high-backed office chair. Marvelous and well worth the money.

Great for travel sleeping, and as a foot rest as well
I purchased this pillow for an 18 hour international flight, having never used a travel pillow of any kind before. It is stiffer than I thought it would be, but I got used to it. I slept much better with it than when I just leaned my head and seat back, and it was certainly better than the joke of a pillow they give you on the plane. A few times, I also used it as a comfy foot rest after wrapping it in the inflight blanket, when adjusting to different positions to stay comfortable on the long flight. The elastic strap is very handy for carrying on a rolling suitcase's extendable handle. The soft cover is very nice, and fits snugly so the pillow doesn't slip around inside. I fall asleep riding in the car so easily, and I have also found it to be useful for car trips. Much better than wedging a flat pillow between myself, the seatbelt, and the window. My one issue was that the back of the pillow seems just a bit large, forcing my neck into an exaggerated curve at first, until my neck settles into the foam after a little time. Even then, it is on the borderline of discomfort, so I have to lean my head at some sort of side angle rather than lying directly back on it. I am a smaller 5'4" woman, so perhaps this is why, and people with different bone structure may not find this to be a problem at all.

No more bobble head!
My husband and I recently took a trip to Florida for our anniversary. We both LOVE travelling to new places, and we both HATE the process of getting there; hours on planes, trains, and airport benches. If you've ever tried to sleep on a plane, or sitting in a chair, you know what I'm talking about. Your head flops around, side to side, forward and back, and you can never get good quality sleep, plus you wake up with an extremely sore neck! This pillow will solve all of those problems! I have used travel pillows before, and they were better than nothing, but nothing to write home about. This one though.... This one is different. The memory foam contours nicely to your head and neck, while being firm enough to keep your head in a comfortable position. The material is soft and does not irritate your neck like some pillows I've used. It's got a nice little elastic band on it which makes attaching it to your suitcase handle while navigating the airport a breeze! We both agreed it was the most comfortable and pleasant traveling experience we've had so far and now we never leave home without these babies!

Recommend with Reservations.
I am a big fan of these "C" shaped neck pillows. My old one was fiber-fill, comfortable and got a lot of use. Sadly, we had a house fire and it was one of the items I had to replace. I decided to try the Memory Foam pillow. I have mixed feelings about this one. The shape is comfortable and supports my neck just fine. I am not a fan of the velour covering though. It feels scratchy, and I think it would feel too warm in the summer. The Memory Foam is okay. It feels a little too hard for complete comfort. I wish it had a little more give to it. So, I recommend this pillow with just these reservations. If you have skin that is sensitive to scratchy textures, overheat easily with things wrapped around your neck, or like a soft feel to your pillows, try something else. Otherwise, it is a great pillow that seems well-made and should last a long time.

Liked the first one so much I had to buy a second one
I ordered one of these neck pillows (the gray one) for my husband, and after receiving it I decided I definitely wanted one for myself; so this blue one is my second purchase. My husband is going on a 2000-mile trip by train in two weeks. He'll be traveling coach which means no place to lay down to sleep for 36 hours. Trying to sleep sitting up can be difficult. I just returned from a trip myself by plane and noticed a lot of travelers with these pillows either stuffed in their carry-on bags or even wearing them around their necks as they walked through the airports. It seemed like every other airport terminal store had some variation of neck pillow for sale. From this I gathered that these must be a good thing. I had tried an inflatable pillow for car travel in the past and wasn't very impressed, but these memory foam pillows are totally different...so soft and comfortable...and your head doesn't "bounce" on it like on the inflatable ones. The pillow molds to your head/face and cradles it securely. The cover is a soft velour and has a zipper so that you can remove it for washing. One nice feature about this particular pillow is that it has an elastic strap so you can hang it over the handle of your carry-on or over a headrest. I plan to take mine on every flight from now on, and I'll keep it in the car in case I need a quick nap. These would make great gifts for anyone who travels by plane, train, or automobile.

Could be firmer. But certainly useable as is.
