This is the perfect solution for my mother who has Alzheimer’s and needs help orienting to time and day. It’s bright but not too bright. It seems to auto adjust at night so that she can still see it, but it’s not glowing and keeping her up in her room. Very easy to set the time. It even has a function for pill reminders, though we don’t need that. Size is good - doesn’t take up too much space and she can easily read from across her room.

I purchased the 8" size for my mom who is almost 90 years old. It is perfect for her and she loves it! Don't use the age guide for size - it is not applicable for all. If I had purchased the 15" it would have been way too big. The 8" is a good size for us, and so far, it has met our needs perfectly. Bright, clear, easy to read and easy to set up. I also appreciated the fact that we could hang it on the wall.

Purchased this for my aging parent who is beginning to have memory issues. This has been a huge hit. The large font makes it easy to read, plugs into any wall outlet so it can be placed around the house. Super helpful to remind them of time, day of the week and date. It worked so well, we bought a second to place in the office.

This clock is fantastic and does everything as advertised and so very easy to use. However, the design falls short as follows: 1. The USB-C connection and resulting charger cord sticks out past the frame and requires a bit of a sharp bend to effectively hide it from view. 2. The prop up leg stand is odd and requires a bit to figure out how to use it. It does tuck away nicely but it should be straight forward and open somewhat similarly to a picture frame leg...simple/easy without any thinking. I very much like the clock but felt it did not deserve 5 stars for some design short falls, IMHO...

Wonderful help for my elderly mother with decreasing eyesight. Brightness is just right. She preferred to turn off the optional evening dimming feature. Thus keeping it bright. She can see it well from across the room. She’s only had it a few days and already she is checking it to stay oriented to the day of the week. This is a very helpful and appreciated product. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

It’s the perfect size and my mom loves it. I’m thinking of buying her a second one for her bedroom. It’s easy to read and tells you everything you need to know about the day.

This is a nice clock for the mantel. It's very easy to read and somewhat customizable. I'd give it 5 stars but it does have a tendency to run a bit fast. It will gain about 3 minutes each month. By the time you notice this, it's too late to return. Update 3/13/26: Even though beyond return date, American Lifetime customer service reached out to address my concerns. Issue has been resolved. all is good. Thank you.

Ich hatte das Produkt bestellt für meine Oma, sie ist 91 und leicht dement, aber inbesondere bringt sie Tage und Zeiten durcheinander. Der Artikel kam dank Versand durch Amazon gewohnt schnell an. Die Verpackung wirkt hochwertig, durch genügend Polsterung kam die Uhr unfallfrei an. Auspacken, Stecker rein und los gehts. Die Einstellungen sind sehr einfach machbar. Grundprinzip: einmal auf den Menü Knopf auf der Rückseite des Gerätes drücken und mit "hoch"/"runter" durch die verschiedenen Einstellungen scrollen und mit "rechts"/"links" die Werte entsprechend einstellen. Standardmäßig war bei mir Englisch eingestellt, das war aber sehr einfach auf deutsch umstellbar. Die Display ist ausreichend groß und auch für schlechte Augen sehr gut lesbar. Man kann das Display durch eine Timer-Dimmfunktion für einen definierbaren Zeitraum abdunkeln. Ideal, falls die Ihr auf dem Nachttisch steht. Weiterhin können verschiedene Termine / Erinnerungen wie Medizin- oder Essenseinnahme programmiert werden. Zur gewünschten Zeit ertönt ein Alarm mit der entsprechenden Meldung. Eine weitere gute Hilfe für vergessliche Menschen. Es sei noch angemerkt, dass der Verkäufer sich sehr um seine Kunden kümmert: In der Verpackung lag ein Feedback Zettel bei, ebenso wurde mehrfach bezüglich der Zufriedenheit nachgefragt. Dieser E-Mail Service lief in deutscher Sprache. Insgesamt ein prima Hilfsmittel für meine Oma im täglichen Leben.

Ho acquistato la versione a 12". Il prodotto è in plastica bianca e tutto sommato si presenta bene ed assolve egregiamente al compito. Il display lcd, ed i caratteri sono enormi e si presta bene ad essere usato anche a parete. Il problema più grosso è che non c'è alcuna opzione per regolare la retroilluminazione risultando estremamente luminoso, anche con l'attenuazione notturna attiva. A livello software poteva essere fatto un pò di sforzo e permettere un po di regolazione dei colori dei caratteri. L'alimentatore switching, allegato è in versione inglese senza connettore intercambiabile, e quindi dovrete acquistarne uno oppure comperare un adattatore uk-eu. La cornice è molto ampia (circa 2cm per lato). Sarebbe stata più elegante se fosse stata più piccola. A mio modesto parere, il prezzo è un pò sopravalutato. *** UPDATE 02.04.2020 *** L'orologio perde di precisione. Va avanti di 1 minuto ogni 15gg circa, il che mi costringe a correggere l'ora. Chiederò un intervento in garanzia.
