I have owned this extractor for almost a month. I can tell it will not last for many years because it is made of plastic, so wear and tear will take it's toll eventually. I am impressed with how well it works (crushes veggies, etc). It is not made to handle hard items everyday, like fresh turmeric and ginger, but as long as I prepare it by peeling and cutting it into smaller pieces, it will handle them with ease. I enjoy the smaller size, the ease of cleaning it and the cost. My concern will be the overuse of certain veggies and the eventual wear and tear, so I am being careful not to overdo it. I want to keep it longer before it needs replacing. I also appreciate the reverse button when food/veggies get stuck, makes it convenient. All parts are made of plastic (except the strainer is part metal and part plastic and so some veggies stain the plastic pieces (need to consider this part). So far I am not bothered by that as long as it continues to function. I now understand why it has received such great reviews and like I mentioned, so far so good with special consideration of the fact that is it made of mostly plastic and the wear and tear will eventually occur. I use it twice per day for my dietary needs and I hope to be able to use it more over time, crossing my fingers. I hope this review helps. I am pleased for my very first juicer/extractor. I am grateful for the affordable price.

Love this juicer, I was hesitant to purchase it after my other omega juicer broke a piece off after three years of use, and since this one was cheaper, I didn’t know what to expect. I prefer this to my other Omega. This is such an amazing juicer, the quality of the juice is so good and I definitely noticed that the waste of the vegetable is much more compressed than the juicer I had before so I feel much better about the quality of the juice.

I'm overall pleased with this juicer, with some minor caveats. I think it's a good value, but this is my first and only juicer/juicing experience, so my perspective is limited. A friend (an experienced juicer, who has a high end double-auger juicer from a different brand), pointed me to this model. We did a juice fast for one week where I was juicing up to 15 times per day (and losing on average about 1 pound per day of body fat). In this circumstance, the machine pays for itself in a couple days, compared to buying cold-pressed juice from the store. Since then, I juice 1-3x per day. It works well and cleanup is pretty simple, although if you don't clean it promptly, juices that remain will evaporate and leave a hard film on some of the parts, which is difficult to clean off, especially the plastic "grates" where the juice exits. Not a big deal in my book. It would have been nice if the locking lever was positioned elsewhere (not right on top), so when you're dumping chopped up stuff into the chute (or when double-juicing the fruit/veggie "poop"), some pieces can fall into the latch area, so I have to be careful to clean the top before releasing the latch so fruit/veggie pieces don't fall and get pushed into the main body when pushing the lever down. That's really my only complaint. This unit has been solid and continues to perform well since I began using it 2-3 months ago on a nearly daily basis. Plus, my kids get a kick out of using it and always squeel in laughter when the machine poops, lol! Pics are a blend of mostly carrot and orange with a little bit of tomato, cucumber, spinach, and beet.

It juices stuff that is softer than carrots just fine, but I might break it if I juice any more hard carrots with it. For pineapple, cut in 1-inch slices, then cut skin and discard about 1/8 inch around the outside (don't juice it), leaving half of the outer rind in place. Then cut pieces around the outside about 1/3 the way to the core for juicing. Cut the remainder to the core for eating (these are the best part). Juice one papaya with one pineapple, and you got a fantastic blend. Juicing fibrous fruits stuff like ginger root and turmeric root works great. Quick and easy cleaning. Very little mess.

I bought this juicer in April I’ve been regularly use it 2-3times weekly. First thing I’ve noticed crack on this part after 2months of usage. I’ve contacted Amazon, they transferred me to the company Omega, Omega explained that I have to pay shipping for the part, what is unacceptable but if that is the only way to get new part- Ok. In the meantime while I was waiting for the replacement part… I’ve continued using the juicer with that crack (img2) Until this morning, when front side of the same part literally exploded living pulp of juice all over the kitchen. The tase of juice was always great and I appreciate that is cold pressing juice I bought it believing that I will use it without any issues at least one year. But this par is so cheap, bad quality, and the warranty is not even better. Be careful.

The price is very good, I started juicing with this juicer Sept. 3rd and use it daily. Have it for 1 month 1/2. It is quiet, not much pulp remainder. Wash parts immeddiately after juicing. Clean parts when square juice container with measurements written on it gets 1/3 full. After cleaning the parts continue your juicing. If you wait till 1/2 or 3/4 full juice container then the part that extracts the pulp can get jammed, cannot take apart causing a big problem. Don't over pack the place where you put fruit or veggie. Be gentle in pushing produce through the chute. I had a similar juicer a year ago which lasted for a couple of years. I bought it at Bed and Bath. It served me very well. Leafy greens go in easily, so do beets, carrots. Just be gentle, clean well after using. Monthly soak overnight in warm soap water. It should last for years. Great healthy juice. Easy to stay healthy. Fun to try new recipes. Enjoy.

I used this juicer for two years and mostly liked it. Cleaning was always a pain, especially the juice screen, but I learned to turn that into somewhat of a mindfulness practice to avoid the daily frustration. The drum and feed chute broke on me multiple times while juicing carrots. The first time this happened, I didn't have any trouble purchasing a new drum and feed chute and was happy. Shipping was free and the part was $12. The second time it broke, I had an awful time getting a replacement. The drum and feed chute was out of stock on the Omega website so I signed up to get an email notification when it was available. The part wasn't available for months, then when it would become available again it would sell out within minutes. I had an awful time with customer service trying to get this replacement part. I ended up ordering a new juicer in November since I was having so much trouble getting a new drum and feed chute, which I was unable to purchase through the Omega website till earlier this month because it was out of stock for so long. I ended up having to pay $7.23 in shipping for it, which I was frustrated by because the part itself is only $12. Between the poor customer service, difficulty getting a replacement part, and my new Omega Juicer J8006HDC not juicing softer produce well, I'm turned off by the Omega brand.

Granted, I just got this thing. However, I pulled it out of the box, give it a quick cleaning, then started in on juicing. I prepped 8x16 ounce juices in one sitting and have absolutely no complaints. It was quick to clean between switching juices and the amount of juice it gets out of the fruits & veggies is exactly what I was looking for. If you don't want to prep your produce by cutting it down, this isn't the juicer for you. If that doesn't bother you, look no further! Yesterday I juiced carrots, apples, lemons, kale, blueberries, watermelon, and cucumbers and it handled all of them with ease. There is small amount of pulp (I would actually say texture, not pulp) because they only strainer is the fine mesh grinder that separates the juice from the meat. If you're looking for baby skin smooth juice, you'd need to get a fine mesh strainer and run it through there. Really happy with this purchase! I'll update if anything changes in the future, otherwise consider this a great buy.

es para preparar 500 ml de jugo si quieres mas tendras que desmontar lavar y continuar la segunda vez que lo compre para mi hija, vino con piezas sueltas. pero lo devolvi y me regresaron mi dinero. estoy viendo si lo vuelvo a pedir. facil de ensamblar y de lavar si me gusto y si lo recomiendo

We bought two of these. Both broke. I had to fight like mad for them to agree to send a replacement part for the second one because I neglected to take a photo of the damaged piece prior to discarding. Out of stock for six months. Buy another brand.
