Replaced a set of cheap clone buttons and arcade stick on my PiCade. The buttons are perfect, they are comparatively super quiet compared to the clone buttons. Joystick feels great. The only real negative I have on this is the 4 screws on the top of the joystick under the protective sheet are incredibly easy to strip if you have to remove them, so be careful of that. I can't fault Sanwa for screws they probably don't expect customers to have to remove. Once I got out the stripped screw, it has been an amazing experience.

The feel of the buttons and the stick are great. If you use an arcade stick of lower quality the difference becomes obvious.

The lever it self is good but the only down side is that the cable doesn't come with 5 pin connector for the arcade stick it's only one for the lever. So you have to either connect it with soldering or find a 5 pin connector.

To be honest, I really didn't like the cheap packaging, without the Sanwa logo on it, it made the whole thing look suspicious. But I can say that the buttons and the stick work well, after more than 250 hours of use. These buttons should be durable and work well for a long time so If anything will change I will update the review.

I dusted off my old Mad Catz SF4 SE arcade stick for SF6, and I don't know if it was always terrible or had just deteriorated with age, but I was struggling to pull of specials let alone supers so decided to upgrade to official parts. The packaging has a sticker saying "Made in China" with a QR code pointing to some site claiming they have to add that to comply with US customs. Everything is smushed into a tiny box that I was unable to fit the old parts into afterwards, but the buttons all have film to prevent scratching the surface and the knob and stick are wrapped separately. No bent pins or anything. I don't have enough experience with Sanwa parts to know if these are fakes, but if they are then they are extremely good quality. Sanwa embossed in all the correct places and consistent feel to all the springs and microswitches. Significantly better than the cheapo clones Mad Catz put in the SE stick. I did have an issue with one direction not working at first, but on closer inspection of the old stick it seems the pins were longer and connector wasn't making tight contact on that one. I squished the crimp with a knife and everything was hunky-dory afterwards. The stick comes with a better quality cable and connector, but the end that goes into the board would need soldering or crimping into a new connector, so I just stuck with the crappy Mad Catz one until I get around to upgrading the board. The product description implies that the stick can be switched between 4 and 8 way, but unless I'm missing something it just means you have the option to put an 8-way gate on there but it is not included. Now I'm pulling off supers as consistently as I was doing specials before and can confidently say it's purely a skill issue. Very happy with the parts.

The lever in this stick feels do crisp and precise compared to knock off versions. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their cheap arcade stick
