It has a strong ginger flavor with sweetness to balance it out. Looking forward to trying the unsweetened version though. I used to make chai for my wife all the time, but Wagh Bakri has gotten me off the hook. Actually, I enjoy making chai, but this tea is so good, that my wife and I don't feel like making it as often! (Though it doesn't replace good ol' homemade chai!)

Good tea. Though it is very sweet. A good backup to have for traveling.

This is a great flavor tea with a nice ginger spice and not too much sweetness. Perfect for a comforting tea.

I had high hopes for Wagh Bakri Instant Ginger Tea, but it was a disappointment. There’s barely any ginger taste at all, which is the whole reason I bought it. Even worse, the aftertaste is unpleasant—kind of like drinking sugary sand.

I used to love this, but I outgrown the giger obsessions, and now it's just a little too strong for me, but still likes to have a cup sometimes, I mix it with milk, which tones it down, and very delicious.
