How long is the plane? The description says 6.3 but also says the packaging is 4.7 x 4.7. Also is it hard to take the plane off the base?

The package is smaller because you have to put it together- it can come off the base easily

No sawtooth engine detail on this Dreamliner? It’s one of many highly distinctive features of this plane.

From my model, I can confirm that the innovative, noise reducing chevrons, which are a distinctive characteristic of the 787, are not included on the engine nacelles. Not sure why. It’s a very small model, particularly the engines, but certainly modern casting techniques could permit them. These are nicely detailed models, but really they are too small to be very precise.

do you have to paint it?

No. It comes fully assembled and beautifully painted. All you have to do is snap the stand together and snap it into the model.
