Would like it to be larger than a soccer ball but like that its softer than hard plastic

It's roughly the same size as a soccer ball, and it's definitely softer than plastic. Unlike a soccer ball, it retains its shape even after being punctured.

Are materials used non-toxic and safe? Why no mention of this in product description?

I've learned if it doesn't say non toxic, it probably is toxic and not safe.

Does this ball have a hard shell or softer? Wondering if my dog can get a hold of it to carry it around

Depends on the Ball Size, and its backwards to what you would assume... I bought the larger for a large dog and the small for a small dog. the larger ball size seems to easy enough to temporarily deflate so that most size dogs can pick it up without a problem. The smaller ball size seems to be extremely difficult for even my largest dog to get his mouth around it/get a grip. Only get the smaller size if your dog has a really strong/large jaw. The larger one is more like a regular soccer ball and even after a year, its dirty, but it certainly bounces.

Is this ball squishy so the fog can grab it?

My Labrador carries this ball no problem. I also got her the 6inches version of the same ball https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EMSVUZ4/ref=twister_B01I6WCRMM?_encoding=UTF8&th=1 which fit nicely in her mouth. She loves play with both as do her doggie friends at the park. I highly recommend this toy.

BEST balls for heavy chewers

My Malinois loves these balls the blue is perfect for them to see well and the balls themselves are not full of air so they don't deflate as such. Great product.

De bal heeft het 3 maanden volgehouden, op zich best lang bij een grote hond. Maar nu zitten er inmiddels grote scheuren in. Jammer voor zo'n dure bal.

I have Boston Terriers. Boston Terriers are small dogs with a stronger bite force than Malinois. They destroy *everything*. When someone in my BT group recommended this, I immediately ordered one and I'm SO happy that I did. It survived a whole summer with my gremlins doing their absolute best to try to destroy it. Sure it's got rents in it and it's partially deformed now, but it can still be kicked and retrieved and no one has a belly full of it. This is the only ball I'm ever buying from now on.

I received this ball at the beginning of June & my 65 lb lab fell in love with it right away! She has played with it daily since receiving it. She is a major biter (opening & closing her mouth on it as opposed to gnawing with her back teeth) & the ball has survived it all ... until the middle of September, that is. On that day, she decided it was time to show that ball who was boss & she chewed a small hole in it. I am disappointed that I only got 3.5 months out of it. She is disappointed she no longer has her ball. I am ordering another one. She is the problem, the ball quality is not!

Es la mejor pelota que le puedes comprar a tu mascota, yo tengo un Bóxer y lleva con ella 6 meses, todos los días la muerde y le pega “palizas” y está en perfecto estado, tiene 3 millones de dientes clavados pero no consigue romperla, es muy resistente, el día que se rompa no dudaré en comprarle otra igual.
