My acupuncturist had the sound machine in her office, and it always made me feel so relaxed and peaceful. When I found out what brand it was, I bought one for myself. It puts me right to sleep. I just really like it a lot and use it almost every day.

I wanted to leave a review to address the other reviews about the yogasleep turning off in the middle of the night. We did experience this at first but discovered that since it does not include a power brick it was likely due to us using one with the wrong voltage/amperage. Once we switched to a USB plug with the required 5v/1a output it hasn't shut off a single time. Sounds quality and volume are good for what we need. It's a nice white noise machine!

Have only had this for a week, but so far we love it! There are so many sounds options to choose from and the volume can be set dull or loud. We keep a noisy household, but I like that this gives a steady background noise for our newborn. The night light is cool to that you can change color! We now own this and the portable sound machine and would recommend both!

I have a taller one, which has the buttons on the bottom, sensor shutoff on top, and lights up. It was a gift, and every time the power goes out, the light comes back on, which we didn't need; it's for us adults, not babies. I stuck with that big one too long. This is one is so much easier! The buttons are on the top and there's no light. It's got the basic sounds, it's lightweight, and works great. If you're an adult just looking for a way to mask street noise for a sounder sleep, this is perfect. I'm back here buying another for our guest room.

We have a different version of this (x2) and if “it ain’t broke I don’t like to fix it.” Well one of ours stopped working after 5 years of use so I was on the hunt for a new sound machine. The style is a little different, but it has the same sounds and is easy to use. We traveled with it recently and it was easy to pack. I also like that this updated version has a night light.

This is a great little device and it has a lot of nice sleep sounds in it. Plus volume control. Little one always wants to sleep with me and I always have a fan running. I put this in his room and it helps him sleep. It’s perfect. It even has a timer on it. And it’s compact enough to sit right on your nightstand.

This sound machine is perfect. Don’t let the small size fool you! It’s loaded with lots of sounds to relax you or help fall asleep. It also has a good speaker for the volume.

This sound machine is crazy-easy to use and comes with a nice variety of soothing sounds to peruse. First, the on-off switch is big, protruding, and easy to use -- just push it. Second, the different types of sounds are all listed on the top of the machine, each with its own label and button (other sound machines I've tried require pressing a single button over and over to get to its various sounds -- not difficult, but not as easy to accomplish as with this machine). Third, it comes with a few sounds that are not included on other sound machines, like meditate and chimes. And finally, it doesn't take up much space. Dislikes? Neither the on-off button nor the various sound buttons light up when the machine is on, and the it is a bit more on the expensive side. Still, I'd highly recommend.

I’ve tested four white noise machines, from budget Homedic models right up to pricey Sound Oasis Machines. Long story short, this is the best one and superior to the others. Here’s why: - 16 different sounds that can be Instantaneously selected ( instead of cycled through with one button like it’s competitors.) - A very impressive, loud and *bassy* speaker ( for its size) ( competitors are tinny and even facing AWAY from the user!) - Does not move when buttons are pressed and a low centre of gravity to prevent it toppling ( unlike a competitor Which slid off my table and scratched itself) - High quality genuinely relaxing tracks with a ‘warmth‘ to them. - Very well made and sturdy - The packaging is very nice and attractive and would make a superb gift being very well presented, suitable for all age ranges but especially younger people perhaps. - The unit itself has a calming aesthetic unlike some of its competitors. The only downsides that I can see are: 1. I think that there are too many of the ‘fan’ type sounds but I understand this as this is Marpacs brand heritage and it has to simulate several other of the brands Historic devices. However they do work. I would prefer a couple more nature sounds such a rustling trees to relax with, however the included nature sounds are superb. I would not hesitate to recommend this product. It’s the best available.

Just perfect machine for the baby

Best white noise machine ever! Great sound, many different melodies and white noises, great nightlight with customizable colour. Bought this to soothe our 6 month baby who we are sleep training. Works like a charm and both me and hubbs slept a way deeper more restful sleep than usual to our surprise, even tough we dont have any sleep problems that needed mending. Will be buying one of these for every child in future!🤩

Awesome device. Effectively neutralises the outdoor noise and helps to have a sound sleep
