Amazon Basics Heavy Duty Packaging Tape with Dispenser for Shipping, Moving and Storing, 4.33 x 2.64 x 2.36, 6-pack, Translucent

I'm really not sure what all of the bad reviews are complaining about. The tape is thick and strong, extra sticky, and each roll is nice and long. The dispenser is really easy to work, the blade is sharp, and the tape feeds through easily (in fact, there is nothing to feed the tape through, it all works very simply and effectively). You can push the blade forward for easier cutting - perhaps this is what people are missing? But even when the blade is safely pushed back, it still cuts. Honestly, I do not see what people are complaining about. My only suggestion would be to ask Amazon to sell refill tapes for these dispensers. It seems a waste to be left with 6 hard plastic tape dispensers but not have the ability to purchase tape to refill them. This is more of an environmental concern than a price/package concern. If I need to buy another box of these tapes with dispensers, they aren't exactly expensive (£12 when I bought them). It would just be nice to save the planet a tiny bit by being able to refill the dispenser. Overall, excellent quality, easy to use, very sturdy, no issues so far. Highly recommend!!

I would have preferred it without the dispensers (but it is not easy to tear so understand why they are included). This tape goes on easy, stays in place and the main reason I would buy it again is that: I just preped some boxes for laying on the allotment and after 1 year this tape was still stuck, but most importantly it also came off easy and in one piece. The other tapes took forever and were a real pain because they kept splitting. This is good stuff.

Dispenser flimsy but tape good

The tape is quite thick which makes it quite strong, it is very good to use, the dispenser was not of the quality I expected as when used foe a while the cutting blade broke free, I would recommend the tape but not the dispenser.

Ineffective design (and that's saying something for a tape dispenser!) and although thick, not really that great a feature if it's not sticky! My moving boxes kept opening up, not just at the bottom but top too. Never thought I'd write a review for tape, but do yourself a favour and skip this, specially if you're moving and don't have time to go to the stores and actually buy something normal that works.

I only use this packing tape now. It holds really well, yet when you peel it off (furniture, boxes) it doesn't destroy the finish.

Utilisé avec succès pour un déménagement et pour des colis. Ce scotch colle vraiment bien. Le distributeur est rudimentaire mais fonctionnel quand on a bien passé le scotch dedans. Je vous partage ma méthode en vidéo, j’espère que cela vous sera utile !

Wir benutzen das Packband für unseren Umzug. Toll, dass so viele Abroller dabei waren, so konnten mehrere Personen damit arbeiten. Das Packband ist recht hochwertig, es klebt sehr gut und mit den Abrollern geht es ganz einfach Kartons oder anderes zu verschließen. Die Qualität und Haltbarkeit ist sehr gut. Nach unserem Umzug ist kein einziger Karton offen gewesen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhaeltnis stimmt, ich glaube nicht, dass man für den Preis etwas besseres bekommt. Das das Band durchsichtig ist, fand ich sehr angenehm, da man die Beschriftung auf den Kartons sehen konnte.

I love this tape! It is strong, sturdy and sticks well .The only thing is that you can't buy refills that fit into the tape guns. I don't want to have to keep buying extra cutters and it seems really wasteful. The handles are too small to sit on a full size roll of tape. I like the little size and find it easier to manage. I just wish I could get more of just the tape
