I purchased this sealer in 2022, and use it weekly for portioning out groceries for freezing, and for sealing leftovers in jars to keep longer in the fridge. I've gone through several rolls of bags, and this sealer just keeps on delivering. I did have to replace the foam seals in it, but after a few years of reliable use, that's to be expected. I noticed it started struggling a big to reliably evacuate the air from the bags, but after replacing the seals it was good as new!I did recently encounter a problem; in the middle of packaging a batch of groceries, it suddenly stopped sealing. The vacuum pump worked fine, it just quit sealing the bags, and the sealer bar wasn't even getting warm. I contacted support, who responded very quickly, and after just a little bit of back-and-forth (far less than I expected!) they decided to send me a replacement unit, which arrived the very next day. Absolutely stellar customer care!

I just really want to give a great appreciation for this product.Potane sealer machine!! I bought it April 4,2021 and its still working good until today!.Its been 4 years now and I used it alot! I dont hardly gove review to an item unless I used it for so long already.This sealed your item really good! I highly recommend it! Theres only few company that make their products last long.This sealer machine this 2025 still working as new.They send a extra black round foam looking thing when I first bought it and after four years the black round foam started wearing out which is normal for a used item so I replaced it with the extra and my goodness work as new again!!☺️Get this brand of sealed bag if your looking for a long time use!!

I've had this for about 2 1/2 years and use it quite often. It is a great product, certainly well worth the money. I recently had a minor problem with it, so I contacted the company by email. In a very short time I received a response from Nicole who offered a couple of possible solutions. One of the solutions she suggested was a possible worn gasket, I used her suggestions to determine that that was the problem, and she sent me a new gasket at no charge, and I received it the next day. Remarkable service. I put in the new gasket and used the product today to package a lot of meat I got today at Costco. Anyway, enough of my rambling, I want to thank Nicole for such great service. I highly recommend this product.

Bottom line: We will never own anything other than a POTANE again. Our purchase came with a 5 year warranty and they honor that. I heard from Potane customer service within hours when our unit wouldn't power up after a power outage. They asked a couple questions and mailed us a new one without hesitation. Nicole was quick with her responses, all within a couple hours and assured me to not worry, our sealer would be replaced immediately. I received it within 2 days of her email. Outstanding customer service and truly unheard of in these times. I bought my daughter a space heater from another company and it was 2 weeks with back and forth emails, pictures of a cut cord, picture of the word 'recalled' written on the heater, etc. It was a nightmare. This was so easy. As I said, we will never own anything but a Potane, it's a quality item and we never had an issue until the power outage. Buy with confidence, the manufacturer has your back!!!

This machine works great. I am very happy with it. Only one issue, the well is not removable for cleaning. When you are sealing things with liquid, the well fills up and you have to clean it while in the machine. Otherwise, I am happy with it.

I purchased the Potane vacuum sealer originally May 30, 2022. I read tons of reviews on different brands, models, etc. I finally decided on this model because of the five-year warranty, the suction power, the wet/dry setting, and the canning attachment. Since getting the unit, I used it 2-3 times a day for everything from sealing chip bags, sealing cheese, keeping coffee fresh, freezing meats, and meal prepping. I literally use it all the time. The maintenance has been minimal apart from cleaning the gaskets and wiping down the machine a few times a week or after liquid spills. It has been amazing for all my kitchen needs. It’s also easier to use - much easier to lock the lid and clean than my friend’s Food Saver!In February 2025, the heat sealer starting to malfunction and wouldn’t switch on in Automatic mode. In March 2025, the heat sealer failed completely, and the vacuum was not pulling despite cleaning all the gaskets.I reached out to Potane through their website. They replied back not even 24 hours later, despite it being a weekend. They helped me troubleshoot, and after we ruled everything out, they quickly offered to send me a replacement unit under warranty.I was shocked when a new unit arrived not even a day later! I was all prepared to freeze my ground beef the old way using zipper bags lol.I cannot say enough good things about the company and the vacuum sealer. The new unit is covered under the original warranty, and if it eventually wears out (which is reasonable since I use this thing literally all the time), I won’t hesitate to buy another vacuum sealer from Potane!
