Great little camera!
We were going on a Caribbean cruise and I wanted to try an underwater camera. I didn’t want those disposable film ones because they only take 27 pictures and you don’t know how they came out until you develop them. I saw this and thought I’d try it. It does kinda look like a toy, but honestly I’m pretty pleased with the photos. We had waves wherever we went, so I was bobbing up and down so they’re not pristine. Also they look better once uploaded on your computer with some simple editing. Others mentioned the door not latching properly but I think that’s user error. You DO need to be sure of closing the door to the SD card/charging port and I wish it was designed a bit sturdier, because make SURE latch it closed. The camera floats; it’s very easy to use; very portable; and it takes very decent pictures. I love it

Hardly waterproof. Water resistant at best.
This is advertised a fully submersible camera up to 3 ft. They should advertise it at “water resistant” if it can’t be fully submerged AS ADVERTISED! The box even shows an image of someone snorkeling with the camera. I wouldn’t recommend that at all. Camera became fogged and completely failed after just one use. Used to film my baby in a kiddy pool no deeper than 6 inches at most. It floated around in the pool and I took photos and videos of my baby playing in the water. The lenses and screens quickly became fogged and eventually the camera gave out. All photos and videos were lost. The memory card was corrupted and water logged. I even made extra sure to close the memory card door properly to ensure it was sealed. It was not. You can see the rust stains from the internal components. Utter piece of garbage. I’ll be returning it immediately

Does one job well. Perfect for Instagram.
Bought this camera for a trip to the beach and was not disappointed. This camera doesn't take the best pictures in the world but it takes GOOD pictures and can be submerged without worrying about it. Underwater results will depend heavily on water quality and lighting. DO buy this camera to pass around between friends on a kayaking or beach trip and capture memories. DON'T buy this camera to capture breathtaking shots of the reef. I'm a hobby photographer and while I have better cameras, I'm happy with the quality of photos this camera takes. The images will initially be very flat, which is ideal for editing. Obviously not everyone wants to edit their photos, but just about any app you share photos with will have some auto enhance option that will boost the contrast and colors with one tap/click. So IMO the flat quality of the photos is neither a feature nor and issue. 18mp is large enough to display at full resolution on any phone screen and nearly any computer screen (5148x3456 pixels). They can be printed without any quality loss up to 11x14, and with acceptable quality up to 24x36. Which means the technical specs are more than good enough for just about anything most people are gonna do with pictures. Attached is an example of a decent picture taken in good lighting and edited. (The water was way too green and murky for any good underwater photos).

What a great little camera!!! Kids love it for the pool!!!
Super durable and easy to use. My kids use it in the pool and we recently took it to the waterpark at Six flags. It's very durable and takes pretty decent pictures and video. I wish it had dual screens so I can see what I'm taking pics of when we're doing family selfies but otherwise good camera. And great price! Watch for deals. I had it in my cart for a while and surprise! The price dropped $10! ($59.99) Learn how to use it before you take it out though because once you're out is kinda hard to see the icing on the buttons to know what to do.

Good for B-roll video
I bought this for a trip to Japan where I knew I would want to be taking a ton of video. This camera is perfect for B-roll video that you might edit later into a YT video. I also use it for recording martial arts classes where I keep it running for an hour straight, or as a backup camera for interviewing someone. If I’m taking short videos, I use my iPhone, but this has been decent for keeping it running. Video is good, but audio is not stellar. It’s good enough for an interview, but not for recording music events. The back of the screen is plastic and got scratched up quickly. I recommend putting a screen protector on the back. For the money, it is good, but if you are needing top shelf quality, you need to spend more money.

Great camera!
I love that it’s small and light. I videotaped underwater while snorkeling and scuba diving. It performed beautifully without any water damage. Took bunch of videos in caves for my channel and did beautifully dry as well. It’s not a professional camera where you can zoom in and out. But it’s definitely a reliable one that’s light and easy to use.

NOT waterproof and the manufacturer will not respond. Stay away
I purchased two of these cameras for my children to enjoy during the summer, both 9 years of age. After our first use in a pool, one of the two had visible water intrusion and will no longer turn on. I assumed that maybe we might have done something wrong but it's a simple device with only one cover and it was definitely installed correctly. I reached out to the manufacturer and haven't received any response. Not only am I out the money for the camera but it also destroyed a SD card that I purchased separately. The camera does not come ready to use, you have to install an SD card. If the manufacturer would have responded to my email or simply offer a telephone number I can call I would have rated this a little differently, but since I can do nothing with this camera I think it deserves the least possible rating and I would advise that not only do consumers stay clear but Amazon should reconsider selling a product on their platform that doesn't offer any customer support or manufacturer warranty help.

If used right, it is waterproof; provides pics in a retro filter; app sucks
The camera is waterproof if used properly. You will need to buy your mini SD card separate and insert into the camera on the side panel. If you do not close thus panel properly, water will immediately get inside and your camera will no longer work. The pics had a nice retro vibe. Picture clarity is not crisp and it’s a little grainy and I think this is intentional. I enjoyed the colors and the grainy imperfection of the pics. This camera is best used outside with sunshine. Though there is a flash, night photos came out extremely dark. I added two pics. The underwater pic is of random rocks and the picture was taken in almost crystal clear, and not murky, water. The camera itself is easy to use. However, the app is trash, buggy, and slow. I could not get my photos to load and whatever photos that did load were shown as blurry. I used the USB cord to get my photos off the camera which was very easy and quick.
