This is a handy gadget. Does what it promises. Amplifies signal on small radios.

I've used this antenna extension to bring in far away FM and Short Wave stations. I've tried it on a couple of different radio's and it works great. Good value for the money and fast shipping. You should buy one to clip to your own radio's antenna especially in case of emergency. Oh, and my truck has a vertical rod type antenna and when I'm parked somewhere, I can clip this antenna extension to bring in extra AM or FM stations. It works! It's easy and fast to reel back into it's portable case with just a finger. I sincerely recommend it.

Can be very helpful for short wave and medium when employed in front of a window or outdoors. Good convient,design.

It is a good product at a good price. It is priced as much as 50% less than products that look identical from other sources/manufacturers. The inclusion of the whip antenna connector cable and the phono antenna plug end for the radio ant receptacle are good inclusions. Basicly it is 30 feet of hookup wire. The value comes from the way it stores and releases the wire and the 2 types of connections to the radio. Other than that no difference electrically/magnetive between it and 30 feet of antenna wire. Good value for an inexpensive cost.

This is a basic antenna that is made well, and seems durable. It doesn't really help at all inside, and I don't have a way to place it outside. So, I kinda just wasted my money. However, in the future, perhaps I'll be able to logistically place it in a more beneficial way.

Great antenna for the price. It greatly enhances audio quality and the wire is super long. I love this thing! Helps listen world wide.

From the short time I've had this antenna it seems to work really well. I primarily wanted to see if it would improve the reception of a couple of low power regional FM stations ....and it did, so I'm happy. The "winding" mechanism in the case seems to work okay as well.

This is an excellent product and does give you better reception but you have to apply some radio knowledge. If you use this inside near tvs or routers etc etc it will mot work well. Fact is your radio won’t either. If you use this with your antenna extended away from electronic noise and of course when shortwave stations are broadcasting you will see results On the east coast of the US I use this out side at night and yes I actually went online to see when the stations are broadcasting. Shortwave is not a clockwork schedule and yes you will need to do some research as to who or what is broadcasting on a given date and time I would use this again and yes I would give this as a gift. Do not expect the works for a basic wire spool extension but you will See improvement.
