Self Drilling Drywall Plastic Anchors with Screws Kit (20 Pack)

I live in a building that was built in the fifties or sixties. My shower curtain rod on one end got very loose and I tried to glue it back, but that failed miserably. I found the Toofix Self Drilling Drywall Anchor Kit on Amazon while looking to find a fix that was easy. The white wall anchor was much stronger than I anticipated and was easy to install (if the hole is a little too loose, you can get the WetNFix discs designed for crumbly walls (to make a more secure fit, which I also bought and used.) This is a great product, especially for people that aren't to savvy with tools. It's easy to install and holds very sturdy. I used this to replace an older model anchor because my toilet paper holder started hanging loosely from the wall. This anchor was placed in same original hole, but easily inserted and holds fast to wall. Worked so well, I've already replaced several hooks with old anchors. This has become my number one go to from now on! Thank You.....

I read many reviews and many brands before I decided to buy this kit. I was a bit skeptical and worried to lose a anchor inside the wall or whatever. The job was smooth. The thread is perfect, the fit of the screw into the anchor is 100%. At first I moved with one of the anchors halfway and then tested the screw. The anchor didn’t move from the wall and I de used to go all in with the 6 anchors to fix my tv mount on the wall. The anchors are there where they should be, as are the screws. Maybe I was lucky but it worked for me and I would buy again if I need more of these.

Seemed to work fine as a support. I had difficulty getting the anchors into the drywall and used a hammer to get it started. In the future I may use a drill just to get the first quarter inch or so into the wall,

I've been using these for years, and trust them for the wall hangers for my guitars, big flat screen TVs, heavy picture frames, closet clothes rod supports, full length mirrors, and etc. Basically anything relatively heavy that needs to go on a sheetrock wall, or for anything valuable that I want to be sure won't come loose and fall and break on the floor. I've never had one of these anchors come loose and pull out of the wall. They grip the wall much more robustly than the non-threaded kind of anchors that you just pop in with a hammer. Some tips: Although they are self-drilling, I prefer to punch a starter hole with a small phillips screwdriver first and then screw in the anchor, as this guarantees a more accurate placement by preventing the anchor from wandering a bit during the initial penetration into the wall. Also, I prefer to use a cordless screwdriver rather than a corded drill to screw them into the wall, because if the drill is too powerful or fast it might screw the anchor in too far and / or strip the threads that the anchor cuts into the sheetrock.
