What is the difference between the Melvin and the Avillo? both are in relaxed fit category. thanks.

The Melvin/Milford sole is flimsy. I highly recommend Skechers Drigos, with the full length memory foam insole which is heaven. These should be listed as 3E instead of 2E: Look closely at image of bottom of black version of shoes, across from heel's S logo to see 'EEE' label. Both these and the Melvin/Milford have a thick memory foam cushion only at the heel.

I usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9 shoe. Amazon recommended an 8 1/2 but they felt a little tight but not to bad. Should I order a size 9?

I usually order an 11 but got these in a 10.5 and they fit fine. I wont wear socks with these and they'll stretch a little so order down a half size if you plan to wear them this way

I am usually and 11 2e, but i always get an 11.5 2e in running shoes. So what size shoe i get in these?

I had the same issue, usually buying an 11 wide, HOWEVER, I relied on the Scechers size guide individualized by specific shoe...it will ask you your "normal" size and will make a recommendation based on its knowledge of the construction of the shoe...as a result I bought a perfect 10 1/2 that fits and feels fine..I trusted the size feature, hope it works for you.

How well does the elastic, mid shoe, hold up? Seems like that might be a weak spot. Thanks!

its been a few months and that elastic is holding up really well, not a weak spot at all.. these are great shoes, my husband loves them.

Comfortable shoes

I bought a pair for my dad. When my delivery came and I opened the box, I just loved the look of theses shoes, so searched for something similar to these in womens. Couldn’t find anything. I then bought myself a men’s pair size 6.5 because in women’s I’m a 7.5. OMG I love them, dad loves his too. I love the look of them and they are very comfortable. I now have 3 pairs

I purchased these for my 94-year-old father as he has problems getting shoes on and off. We wanted something warm for him that he could wear in the house and if we needed to leave, he would have something warm and comfortable where when we’re out. I don’t think there’s been one day that he’s taking them off since he received them! They are easy to put on, Warm & Cosy and he feels very stable on his feet.
