This spread has a bold flavor that doesn’t need anything else to make it taste good. I tried it with and without butter on crackers and liked it better all by itself. The butter seemed to take away from the unique flavor. It only has three ingredients, so it’s something I would naturally be drawn to. The texture is similar to apple butter and this makes it different from what I find in local stores. It would be good on English muffins or toast. It’s quite satisfying and surprisingly low in calories. It’s not overly sweet. The lemon gives it a tartness without making it overly tart or bitter. It’s just right for balancing the flavor. The jar was intact and it had a decorative paper top over the lid which made it attractive. Perfect for gift giving. It’s not cheap, but the ingredients are just like homemade, so that makes it a bargain. I’ve seen homemade jars of fruit spreads at much higher prices. I tried some in plain yogurt and it was an interesting combination. It’s also good straight from a spoon if you can’t find an excuse to eat it and you don’t have English muffins or bread handy.

I love this stuff! My grandmother used to make this herself in Germany. Since she passed, I've been searching for the same product commercially - and this is it! I've purchased this several times & will continue to do so.

I cannot thank you enough for making this product available. My family down through the years has had a recipe for plum cake that was an absolute must during the holidays. The problem occurred when baby food companies stopping making plum baby food. This past Thanksgiving, I purchase a jar of your plums and tried it in the cake recipe surprising my family! It was the first time in probably 10 years that we had plum cake. It was a great success and my family was thrilled! Needless to say, I had to make 2 cakes for Christmas!! Tasty but pricey

This is good plum jam. It’s not as good as my mother used to make but then what is ever as good as you remember it from childhood. This is a tasty treat.

I've been searching for a really good Plum Butter for a long time. Saw this and thought I'd try it. The product I received was exceptionally good. Bold, strong flavor, if just a bit on the overly sweet side. HOWEVER, the product I received was NOT the product I ordered. What I received was a Tart Cherry Butter, which, while very good, it was not plum. Whoever does this manufacturer's shipping needs a little oversight.

Great for my pastry cookies!
