Surprisingly Sturdy and Perfect for Playtime!
I was initially skeptical about purchasing a cardboard treasure chest, but this one exceeded my expectations. Despite being made of cardboard, it’s impressively sturdy and has held up well to daily use. Assembly was straightforward, and the finished product looks fantastic—just like a real treasure chest! My son absolutely loves it. He uses it to hide his toy cars, Play-Doh, and other little treasures. We’ve even turned it into a fun game where we take turns hiding items inside and giving each other clues to find them. It’s become a delightful part of our daily routine. The size is just right for his small toys, and it’s lightweight enough for him to carry around. The design is charming and adds a touch of adventure to his playroom.

sturdier than some of my actual furniture
It’s cardboard, yes—but made very well. It’s not too big but big enough to hold “gold bars” for a class of 18 kids. This thing has survived drops, stomps, and dramatic battles

Small but it works
The actual dimensions are 9 1/4 x 5 1/2 x 5 1/4 for the lower portion that you can put rewards in (because you obviously can't fill it to the top of the lid or it would spill out when you tried to open it). It gets wider in the middle so that measurement is for the smallest (base) section. The product is exactly as described but I was still let down- that's my own fault for not conceptualizing the actual size of the lower portion to hold the rewards. The lower portion is smaller than an adult shoe box. The print is great, assembly was super easy, and it's sturdy enough for minimal short term use.

Cute but assemble carefully
Very cute and of durable cardboard. My only complaint is mine is a bit wonky and the lid doesn’t line up right when it’s closed. I’m thinking about getting some Velcro stickers to attach to top and bottom to force it closed.

Just what I needed!
First off, I need to let y'all know I'm not a teacher. I'm just a young adult who decided for their 26th birthday that they wanted to have a "Pokémon birthday like I'm 6", and made the executive decision to get a bunch of party favors to use as prizes for games my guests and I played. But I'm picky, and not just any ol' box would do, and I ended up frustrated at my inability to find anything I liked! Enter this lil' beauty!!! It looked pretty perfect in pictures and reviews, and was EXACTLY what I was looking for! I had ordered it on a Tuesday, I got it that Thursday, and my party was a Saturday! It was pretty easy to assemble, and is incredibly sturdy (my cats knocked it off my kitchen table twice and it survived unscathed). The one and only problem I had with this box was...I bought entirely tooooooooo many prizes, and I couldn't fit absolutely everything. But that's cause I have the tendency to overdo things. 😂 I can see why teachers would use this in classrooms. It's make a perfect prize box for trinkets or candy. Just don't try to fit a party pack of Ring Pops ontop of several backpack keychain blind bags, stickers, and Pop-It Pokémon keychains. 😂😂😂

Perfect birthday treasure hunt chest!
It is a cardboard treasure chest. Small, but big enough for books like Little Goldens and Bernstein Bears. There is no latch, but that was fine. It is cardboard. Easy to put together - Stood up fine. I bought it for a birthday treasure hunt for a 4 year old. I used pictures as clues and he followed them through the house until he found the treasure. He loved it!

Not worth the money
If this was $5 I would recommend it. It is incredibly disappointing. I should have read the reviews. It’s easy to build but is flimsy and looks extremely cheap. I’m surprised this came from teacher created resources. I’m not sure any teacher would really like this.
