Classroom Music Games and Activities Review: So much fun and learning in one package! - I just received this book 2 days ago, and I am thrilled with the variety of musical games and activities I can use with my students. I teach both piano and vocal music, and there are many activities that I can use for both. Some are written specifically for bands, but the ideas behind them can be easily modified for vocal or piano students. There are also some reproducible pages that make some of the activities super easy to implement I can hardly wait to get started using these fun activities with my kids!! I like to start each lesson with one fun activity or silly song to get them in a happy mood, but, frankly, my little brain was running out of fresh ideas. This book has given me an infusion of new ideas to implement, and the kids will love them! I seldom take the time to write reviews on desertcart, because I purchase so much from them. (My neighbor told me she suspects that the UPS guy and I are having an affair! No thanks!!) However, I am so happy with this resource, I felt I must write one. Thank you!! Review: Great games and activities k-6 for an elementary music classroom - This book has a TON of ideas for music games and activities. It includes some pages that you can just copy and have the kids complete...like puzzles. The games are fun, and the kids love them. I highly recommend this book if you are an elementary music teacher.

Useful music classroom ideas
Ordered this for my wife, who started teaching K-8 music. She was looking for ideas for the younger kids, and she indicates this has helped.

Not for homeschooled kids
Wanted something for my homeschooled kids to use for music theory/appreciation with fun type games and whatnot. I didnt find this useful or useable for a home based program. Most of the ideas seemed to be for larger groups in a classroom setting. I am returning.

This book relieves a lot of stress of finding quick and easy lessons, especially for days with subs or between units. Also useful for fast finishers and those who need extra practice. Easy to read and follow.
