Will it rub against anything? If yes, then put something to prevent the casing from wearing through. Most wires in a vehicle are not in a split loom, unless they can rub against something.

Marine grade wire is a good choice for an RV because it's tinned throughout and resists corrosion better than normal household wire. This is the correct gauge for a 15 amp 120v ac circuit. Be sure and use a 15A circuit breaker to protect the RV.

I would add one caution. What is the current draw of the fan?. The max amps for a 14 awg wire is around 15 amps for most small runs. It's easy to look up the table on what size awg wire per length to insure a safe installation with no overheating of the wire issues or popping a circuit breaker. I know this seems like overkill, but you said you were putting this in an RV, and gave no information on the fan. it's probably fine, but I would rather be safe than sorry when dealing with electrical issues in a camper.
