Hasp Latch Lock

This is just what I needed for our back gate. We have a gate that isn't used very much but racoons our coyotes were popping it open in order to access our yard. It used to only have the typical gate lock, but now I put one of these on top and at the bottom with master pad locks!!! It works perfectly for our needs.

Easy to install. Did the job it was meant to do.

Thin metal, not that I expected¼inch plate, but a little thicker would be nice but it will work for minimum security needs.

The product seems fine. The measurements provided in the description are not useful for how the product is installed and is too small for my application. The effective gap it will span is about 2 inches for the “5 inch” version. Installation is simple, but the diagram in the instructions is for a completely different product and not in a language I can read.

***Update***While the main body appears to be stainless steel the hinge is not and rusted after two storms. Stay away from this product I’d you will be using outdoors.****************This was okay for the price. My issue was one of the hinges was very tight and not smooth for opening and closing. Since I needed it installed right away could not do a return or exchange. I ended up putting the ends of the hinge on wood blocks and giving a few hits of a hammer in the middle to loosen up the pin.

für mich war diese Überfalle in 5 Zoll optimal! Preis Ausführung alles top.

Noch nichtmal benutzt und schon enttäuscht......Beiliegende Schrauben sind total verrostet!Da erwartet man nachdem es angeschraubt ist auch nichts gutes mehr....
