What's the max charge rate and amp discharge rate? If these can't supply occasional 5 amps I can't use them.

These batteries are as good as any on the market. I do not know specifically if 5 amps is okay. But if not then I don’t think that any can tolerate 5. But maybe they do. I usually charge at 2 amps. So, if 5 amps is too much then just switch a discharged one for a fully charged.
