I purchased this product because I have had 3 cervical spinal surgeries, but I still enjoy sport shooting. The Limb Saver drastically cut the recoil back on all of my high powered rifles. I have had many injuries so this greatly helps me, but it will also help all of you healthy young bucks out there as well. You do not have to get all bruised up and sore from a day at the range or hunting. All you have to do is add this finely engineered piece of equipment to your favorite shotgun or rifle and wake up the next morning without the soreness, pain, or bruising. I highly recommend this to all shooters with spinal issues or shoulder issues. You too can get back into the sport of shooting with the Limb Saver in the place of your factory butt plate.

This thing was amazing normally with my 7mm mag. I could only put 2 rounds down range. With this I did 5 and still had no sorness in the shoulder. Definitely is worth the money. I did install it on a Winchester model 70. I had to drill a new hole in my stock even though this said it fits synthetic. It was not a direct fit

My Remington 700 Stainless Synthetic .338 Win Mag came with a Limbsaver recoil pad and it is a pleasure to shoot. I decided to try the Airtech pad on my synthetic stocked M70 .300 Win Mag which was a punishing gun to shoot with the factory pad. Just got back from the range and am happy to report that this recoil pad made a huge difference. I shot 30 rounds and could have continued if dinnertime hadn't intruded! Installation was easy (2 screws) and the fit was pretty good. Not as good as a grind-to-fit installed by a gunsmith but good enough that nobody will notice without a close-up look. Overall a darn good product that works as advertised.

so the reason I give this 4 stars and not 5 is that it is not a perfect fir on my 7mm mag. I t is slightly too wide at the bottom part of the stock, but this doesn't affect performance. I used the template from the mfg's website to verify that this is the one I needed too, so when it didn't fit perfect I was a little disappointed. Now, on a normal day out shooting, after 5 or so shots, I start to feel it in my shoulder. I get that feeling that someone has just been punching me, and the soreness sets in for a couple days. my first day out with this recoil pad, I shot 22 rounds and didn't feel a thing! I went out again a few days later, and shot 14 more rounds. Still no soreness! It is truly night and day with this thing on! One complaint though, is that after being in the woods for a while and shooting and being outdoors, it got a little bit of a sticky feeling. Almost like the sticky hand thing you used to get out of the quarter machines.

Bought this to pair with a mossberg magpul/remington adapter and my shoulder has never felt better after long day of shotgunning. Really eats up all the recoil even with hotter loads. Used to have a little bruising after training sessions but no more after installing this guy.

Perfect fit for my Model 700, reused factory screws.

I think the product is pretty good but would not know as it doesn't fit. Double checked on model and it was supposed to fit but doesn't.

Easy to install and works great. Went out and fired 1/2 box of 300 Win Mag shells and no problem. It sure beats the stock recoil pad.

Fit my synthetic savage 220 near perfect.

Not a direct fit, but close!!!!! Needs a little bit of drilling to fit, but the contour is an exact match for the stock. Softens recoil very well compared to the original pad.
