Eastvolt Digital Soldering Station with 10 Minute Sleep Function, Auto Cool Down, C/F Switch, Ergonomic Soldering Iron

Very nice. Made an easy job even easier. I used this to solder my guitar electronics. I used to dread solding the grounds to the poteniometers. I was always having to over heat them. Not with this unit. At 425 degrees C it took seconds, and done with a perfect solder joint. With my limited skills I was able to make the finished product look better than the factory job, (granted I'm doing a hundred a day). Even the small tweezers they include are nice! I thought they'd be plastic. Nope. They are metal and will come in handy, (I build models and work on watches as well). Very satisfied!

This thing works great for all the basic repair and upgrade work i use if for. I haven't used anything but standard conical tip. Of course if you plan to do multilayer PCB repairs or the like you should probably get the pace version w/ the proper tips. But as a previously certified mini/micromini repair tech, i recommend it.

I have used many soldering stations in the last 50+ years. Some were more than a hundred dollars 40 years ago. This unit heats very fast. Tip is nice size for most work, not to mention they supplied replacements. Would have no problem recommending, especially at the price. Definitely not designed for production, but for everyday shop use it is great.

I feel like this station has taken my soldering skills to the next level. Having exact control of the tip in degrees C has also been awesome. It heats up quickly and maintains temperature very well. I like that it has memory of the last settings as those are what I use most. So far, I have no complaints about this kit. I have had it for roughly a month and some change. I would buy this again and recommend it to others.

Fired up the Soldier Station today, but it does not work. No mater what I do it still shows a 5-E or S-E in the screen. See photo. I missed my return window and can not send it back. This is a piece of junk. Don't purchase.

Love the digital display and interchangeable heads ! Awesome lil soldering set up would recommend for a beginner.

Heats up fast, temp control is really a nice feature and sleep/ safety off features easy to program. The iron holder needs a slight crimp at the narrow end of the ring to secure the iron better but other than that I really like this unit.

This is a very very good station. Heats up very quickly, a very nice iron stand, and a very nice tip cleaning reservoir and a nice round sponge.It's better than I expected.

Nice unit. Heats up quick and the auto shut down is a bonus when you forget to off.

I regularly use a hakko 888D, but this Eastvolt solder station is my top pick for a budget alternative. It arrived well packaged and as described. The reasonably sized transformer inside gives this unit some weight, but puts it in the league of more expensive units. In my testing, it reaches working temp in less than 30 seconds from a cold start.
