Sustee Aquameter, Set of 5, Plant Soil Moisture Sensor (Green, Medium)

Mt plants have gone from “iffy health” to vibrant health in a few months since we started using these. I learned a big problem with my plants’ health is watering them all at the same time. Some were needing watering sooner and some weren’t needing water yet. These sticks tell me just which plant to water and which to wait on watering. They’re not inexpensive, but neither are my plants. I bought one pack, saw how helpful they are, and bought three more packs so all of my plants have one in them. Unless you have a natural green thumb, these simulate one :)

Love these. So compact and neat looking and made me realize I have always overwatered my houseplants! My plants have never been healthier now that I'm watering them correctly. This meter works great!

These are great! I am so happy to have found them on Amazon. I ordered not having high expectations and these consistently remind me when to water (helpful in the winter months). I will say it’s not perfect bc they measure the area they are placed into so you need to make sure you water the soil evenly to get a fair reading.

These are helpful but can not be 100% trusted. As long as you use them as a guide they are great. Don’t let them replace human judgment! Feel the soil and make sure it’s actually not wet before watering again. Or, just because it’s blue you should still feel your soil. I’ve noticed that how well they work somewhat depends on the type of soil and what plant it is. Some are more accurate than others. Once you get a feel for your particular plant and soil, you can start to trust them more. Think of them as a helper…

Very fast shipping, especially during the holidays. The product feels and looks well made and it's very easy to use. I read a 1 star review for this product stating that after approximately the 6th month of use it quit working and the inside material disentigrated. Of course it did! That's exactly why they made them refillable! Some of these are made to be refilled after 6 to 9 months of use, the person even stated it worked great until..... So the product got a 1star review for literally doing what it was supposed to do. This is the first time I have used these and I am glad I bought them as I would of over watered my anthuriums. I waited a week just to see if it was worth buying more and I believe I will be buying these in a regular basis.

I very rarely write reviews but this is an exception mainly due to how expensive these things are. You know... PRICE = QUALITY... Yeah right. Here's the deal. The first thing that happened was that one stick stayed blue even after the plant died from no water. Then I checked the others and low and behold, the same problem. Upon examination I found that the wick inside the stick had rotted and fallen apart. WTH! And they'd all failed for that reason. The only thing I can think that might do that is the fertilizer, but I'm only using a simple diluted fish oil solution. I don't get it.

These Aquameter plant moisture sticks make my job easy to water my 60 indoor plants. They take the guess work out of watering every day! Thank you so much 😎

They are a great product that I attribute with how well my houseplants are doing... letting me know when I need to water has been wonderful taking the guesswork out of should I water once a week, once every other week?? I'm only rating 3 stars because my latest order arrived and one of the 5 sticks is not functional and I'm waiting to see if the company sends me a new filter to make it functional. Bottom line, the product is great but is the company selling them as well. I'll update my rating/review if/when I hear anything back.

Molto soddisfatto.

For many years I've struggled to keep my houseplants consistently healthy and happy. A large part of this is due to my ADHD - I have a poor memory for the passage of time (did I water them two days ago or two weeks ago? Who can say?). I had been using a plant care app that would estimate when to water each plant based on the species, pot size, soil type etc, and send me a push notification to remind me to water - this was better than nothing but it was only an estimation. Additionally (crucially) it still left room for human error /forgetfulness. These sticks have been an absolute game-changer! Instant visual indicator of which plants do/don't need watering. Perfect. No need to rely on algorithmic estimates, no need to keep track of their last watering, and no having to stick your finger into pots and get soil stuck under your nails (not for me - yuck!). It also means my partner can 'co-parent' easily as there's no worrying about accidentally over-watering. All sticks are still working great several months after purchase. I did have one stick that I spotted that stopped changing colour but I think it must've been clogged with mud or not inserted properly - a quick rinse under the tap and it was sorted. If you are already an excellent and attentive plant parent then you won't need this. For everyone else - this is an essential! My plants have never been so healthy! Also great if you go away and are having plant-sitters, or would be great to include if you're gifting a plant to someone - nobody likes the guilt that comes with accidentally killing a lovingly gifted houseplant! (nb - I bought two sizes of this stick so have posted this in both listings)
