Well made, thick padding and sturdy
I used this bench for foyer seating

Don’t get with a king sized bed
It’s a nice piece, just a little small by my king sized bed

However, if you live in an area prone to termites I suggest the before assembly, remove the black material underneath the cushion and spray wood with termite killer. I use Bio Advanced Carpenter Ant and Termite killer. I did not do this and several months later, the black material completely fell apart creating a mess.
