This was so easy to use. The temperature is consistent - it does not have a thermostate but this has made my seedlings are spouting and are much happier! The value was great - I shopped around for other heat mats in our local nursury and they were very (VERY) expensive. This is water proof and the length easily covers two of my trays side by side. It is not too thick, seems to high quality and functions as I need it to. Your sprouts will thank you!

Just received a day ago but so far they work great. Temp has been steady, my seeds are germinating. Seem to be great quality and ships extremely fast. No smell, instructions were very detailed but not necessary, very easy to use.

Maintains a good temp to help seed germination. Cost is negligible. Doesn't have a thermostat but I used an instant read baking thermometer to verify heat output. Temps stay within a degree or two. I've noticed a definite improvement in seed germination. I just ordered the same set of two mats for my daughter!

Can only give 4starsat this time because only used them for 3days. But heat is even across bottom of trays and consistent

Works great, just warm enough. I start my seeds inside around mid January. Using 1.5" by 1.5" trays, laid out on a restaurant style sheet pan, roughly 14 rows of 9. Place the warmer on an old bath towel and the sheet pan on the warmer, the towel helps insulate the pad keeping the bottom of the sheet pan warm, but dry. Add a few shop lights. You might need two pads for the larger pan if your in a really cold climate (I live in SC). I'm getting great germation.

Using it for fermenting kombucha, kefir and other things. Works really well and with a smart outlet you can regulate the temperature if you have a temperature probe.

Note - I did not use these for seed germination yet. I used one for resin crafting - the other will be used for seed starting when it's not 5000 degrees outside here in Florida. The heat level is consistent, but not variable. There are no switches or knobs to adjust the base setting. It plugs into a standard outlet. The mat itself is a smooth matte vinyl, so I did cover it with parchment paper before I used it for resin in order to avoid making a huge mess. It really helped remove the stubborn bubbles in my resin dice. There is a warning that this, like most electronics, should not be submerged or exposed to standing water for a long period of time. Make sure you are using something with drainage holes OR have your seedlings otherwise contained so the water doesn't get on the mat. Anything that does spill wipes off quickly. This is about the size of a large desk mat and is relatively thin and non-obtrusive. The cord does not have a swivel head, so placement is important if you need things to stay level. It would be a great modification if they made these with a rotating/swivel outlet plug, but alas. The vinyl seems sturdy enough, but I do foresee it cracking down the line. Just be careful and avoid water intrusion.

É incrível! Em 1 semana de uso contínuo, sementes minhas que não tinham brotado ainda e outras cujo crescimento estava estagnado evoluíram muito! Tive só que aumentar a frequência de umidificar com spray com água as plantas, porque o solo secou bem mais rápido com o tapete.

Très efficace pour les semis. Les tapis chauffants fonctionnent très bien et aident vraiment à la germination des graines. Je vais certainement en racheter. Très satisfaite de mon achat.

La alfombrilla se autoregula en temperatura y la puedes usar de día y noche . En mi caso la use 21 días seguidos y sin problema las semillas germinaron súper rápido y todas se lograron.

These mats are warmer than I would have thought. I actually feel pretty hot if you use it as a heating pad on your back. However, the one I put in my growing area is just there to keep the growing area from getting too cold during the winter and my peppers are loving it. The mat is only 20 w so I can leave it on 24/7 keeping the area at least moderately warm and to touch the one that's not being sandwiched between me and a chair... It's not super warm. Just feels really warm when it's being insulated between a couch or chair and a human body. So far so good if these matts die in the next little while. I will come back and change this
