If you are like me and love taking care of your car then splurging on some towels is worth it. Yes you can get like 10 towels for $10 that are microfiber, but they are trash compared to these. Griot's microfiber loop towels are honestly the most absorbent towels I've ever worked with and they don't scratch the paint because they have the soft edges which is way better than edge-less for longevity and quality.
