Ontel Swivel Sweeper Max

I have back problems and using a broom to sweep the floor is very, very painful for me... so I use a sweeper all the time. I've been very happy with this swivel sweeper. If you've seen the commercials that show how closely it hugs stuff when you turn it, it's TRUE. There are two prongs on the top of the sweeper that allow you to dump the dirt without touching the dirty pan. It even works okay on indoor-outdoor carpeting (I know... I'm not supposed to use it there!). The only thing I'm not sold on is the way the battery is attached and charged, but for the price I can definitely put up with that. I bought this to replace an old Shark. The battery on the Shark had died, and purchasing a new battery for the charger was more expensive than replacing the sweeper! And on a comparison basis, I would say that this sweeper is a LOT more powerful the the Shark was. In fact, I have to be careful to either pick everything up that I don't want it picking up (rugs, soft baskets, shoes, etc.) before I sweep. It will pull in things I never thought it would pull in! It is also quick to shut itself off if you do pick something up that will hurt the mechanism. The only con there is that you have to wait for it to reset itself (about 10 minutes) before it will turn back on. Of course, you can remove the battery and then stick it in again to circumvent that. I've found that it usually will turn on by the time I've cleared the rollers. This is not a vacuum and it won't replace one either, but it is a great little sweeper. Once of the nice features of this is that there is a magnet in the head (on both sides, I think) that holds the head to the bar when it is put up.

I wasent expecting to actually use this thing. It was an impulse buy on a sunday night. I must say on hard floors this somehow works better than my dyson. And its so maneuverable and light!. Not sure if these are old stock or not but i hope they continue making these as they are great!

Honestly when it has came down to many As Seen On TV products, most of them really have not worked in the way that a lot of customers intended on them to be made. But some products really do work wonders for the wallet. Hard to believe that it has been over a decade since the Swivel Sweeper had been released and it definitely changed the way we vacuum and clean up our floors. But so many still are skeptical in knowing if they are better than most of those robotic vacuums of today. Well, the thing that I do love about the sweeper is that it really does as strong of a job as most vacuum companies have had their cleaners made like Oreck and Hoover. The Swivel Sweeper Max really does work well at cleaning your carpets and bare floors without many hassles. It is very lightweight and easy to carry, and really does a great job at picking up dirt, pet hair and fuzz from the floors. The sweeper works great, but there is one thing though that could've been improved. While the sweeper cleans up nicely, removing the cleaning heads to clean and remove tangled hair and things that can clutter the sweeper is more of a hassle. Still, the battery works flawlessly when you need to recharge it and there is no problems or wasted time. It is a really good product and I sincerely recommend the Swivel Sweeper Max. I have just about every floor sweeper/vacuum know to man. Seriously. I have 11 indoor/outdoor cats and one long-haired small dog. Well, I now have a new favorite, and I swear it does everything I want it to...and I have no complaints about it, so far. To me, there is no downside to this sweeper. The thing that I like it is that it has a long battery life, and, unlike the SwifferVac, it doesn't run out of power near the end of use, like mine does. I can usually do just about the whole house with the Swiffer, but if I dally, I'm not able to finish vacuuming with it. This new sweeper will, like the little vacuums, sweep up the pet hair, and the hair will wrap around the brushes. HOWEVER, with this machine, the brushes come out, and it's so easy to clean! There is a dirt receptacle that's a snap to open and empty, then I attack the brushes. Like the SwifferVac, I can do all of the hard floor areas in two back-to-back sessions. I always have so much to pick up that I empty the sweeper mid-way through cleaning, to provide better sweeping performance. Getting it too full will simply compromise the cleaning capability. I don't think I could find a better sweeper for my needs. Unlike the SwifferVac that will let you get under furniture only so far, this little cleaner will go flat so you can get it in just about any space. Also, unlike the SwifferVac, there is a battery replacement with this sweeper. SwifferVacs can only be thrown away. I even contacted Swiffer about this problem, a good two years ago, and was told that my idea would be passed on to their Engineering Department. So, the land fills unnecessarily are the recipients of these products that could have been given a longer life. To me, it's all about greed. I am now on my 3rd SwifferVac. So far, this is an amazing little sweeper, and it's my new favorite. If I sound like a commercial, it's truly because I believe in what it can do. Update: I loved this sweeper when I initially got it--when it worked. I got it in March of 2017, and for several months it worked fine. Then it would run for a few minutes, then stop, and wouldn't start, again. I would then re-charge the battery...use the sweeper, again--and it would stop. I thought maybe the problem was with the battery or charger, so I ordered the combo from Amazon. I charged the new battery, and the same thing happened. So, now, I'm back to using my trusty SwifferVac, and that gives me no problem, at all.

Es sieht so aus als ob der Karton mutwillig aufgerissen worden wäre und das deutsche Ladegerät entwendend worden wäre. Wir bitten deshalb uns ein Ersatz Ladegerät zu zu senden. Ansonsten ist alles OK. Bis zum 17.06.2021 wurde noch kein Ladegerät zu gesandt. Sehr schlechter Service!

This is a great litlle battery powered Broom. It works on hardwood flooring, tile, stone and light carpet. It will last for years if used for cleaning these areas. It is not designd for heavy carpet cleaning. Almost all of our family have one nd they love it. The family has purchased around 10 of these from Bed, Bath and Beyond in Canada but they are now decontinued here.

Buena compra, despues del paso de los meses la fuerza para aspirer va disminuyendo pero yo que tengo 2 hijos y siempre hay boronas en el piso o pedacitos de pan o comida o algo funciona excelente. Creo que para un tema de limpieza mas alta llamese una alfombra por ejemplo este equipo no funcionara en lo absolute funciona ok en pisos es muy ligero eso si y la bateria funciona bien tiempo de uso vs carga
