I must say this is a GREAT camera and EXCELLENT customer technical support. I was looking for a camera to add to my Taxa Mantis camper. I am pulling the camper with my 4Runner and was needing a cable long enough to reach my Kenwood after market radio. I was not wanting to add another monitor and my Kenwood head unit had the capability to add cameras in addition to the backup camera already installed in the 4Runner. Judy was very helpful with ensuring I was doing the wiring correctly and made sure I used their extension cable for the best compatibility so make sure you don’t use a latter market extension cable. Unfortunately, my head unit did not have AHD HD capability, but the camera still has a great picture and again, all I needed it for was for helping me see behind the camper when driving on the highway, etc. very helpful and would definitely recommend this product.

So much for all back up cameras being alike. This one is better than any I’ve come across in every way that matters. It was a bit more expensive than others, but they had next day delivery and that was essential for me. How it works is exceptional and I’m sure others will share that, but what impressed me was the little things. The harness that connects to power was about 50% longer so I didn’t have to splice. The ground had an end on it so that you aren’t tempted to tap into another ground which is just a bad idea. The data cable is better quality than normal and longer. The hinge on the mount has plastic washers that prevent it from shifting up and down. If you are replacing a different brand it’s worth it to pull all the old stuff and use what’s included. This of one of the few purchases that I have made in the last year that I have been truly happy with the quality. There isn’t anything that I found that needed improvement. There instructions are clear and easy to follow. It’s worth paying a little extra for quality.

I went through countless backup camera options here on Amazon. The decision was tough with all the mixed reviews on all of them. I finally made a leap of faith and went with this one and I couldn't be much happier. Decently priced, nice clear display and most importantly bright at night ( as pictured). Installation was a breeze and does exactly what I need it to do. Look no further you found the backup camera you need.

That exception is common to all of these types of inexpensive cameras: the cord from the camera to the connector is just too short. It needs to be at least 6 inches longer to reach inside easily for a large SUV. Why manufacturers don't spend another dollar on making that cord of sufficient length in beyond me. The cord from the head unit to the back is way more than long enough. Do the same for the camera wire. I installed this on a Toyota FJ Cruiser to replace the useless "rear view mirror" camera setup. Mounting this camera in its place inside the spare tire mount was a bit of a challenge but it worked out well in spite of the short camera wire. The camera and attached wire took a bit of a beating during installation but the camera works great. It communicates with my Kenwood head unit just fine. Picture is a bit dull but for $39 dollars, that's fine. Thank you.

Based on reading through many different reviews of different products, this camera seemed to be one of the best available. It certainly did not disappoint after test installing it on my Jeep. I might just order a second camera and keep this one in the current location! This one I bought is meant be installed on the back of a trailer so I can see when backing up, however I'm in need of an extension to complete that install. I'm hoping the seller can help me out with that. I need to test what the video looks like at night, but it looks flawless during the day through my Alpine iLX-670. The body and lens looks very solid. Time will tell how long it will last. I will update this review after some more testing.

I was hopeful that this camera would perform but failed after 4 days. Nice study frame for the camera but thats the only good thing I can say about this purchase. Considering the time I took to wire it in...totally disappointed that the camera failed in such a short period

I have replaced my camera 3 times and had failed experience with 3 cameras. Some were DOA, other was upside down and image could not be flipped. Paid a bit more but the image quality and features are excellent.

Installed on 2006 F150. Very clear in both daytime and night time. Works great!

Image quality is good. Build is good too. 1 year warranty which can be extended to 3 years. Excellent response and support from the seller. I would give it 5 stars except for one minor thing.. The guidelines are not very accurate and are huge in size. I have just installed it. Will have to wait and see if it holds up after couple of months and years.

Installation took 30 mins (vary, depend on the car). Picture is clear enough.

Great quality back up camera with a clear image. I have it connected to my mom's car into an aftermarket headunit and haven't had any issues at all. Will update review if any issues surviving the cold harsh Canadian winter.
