I purchased this to crush the OTC and medications I take. It seems like every pill is a horse pill and I'm not confortable taking them without crushing them.I'm so glad I got this. It works just as advertised. If you have good had strength, a device like this will work well for you. If you do not have good hand strength, you may need to twist the cap a few times to get the pills crushed to the consistency you like.It has a small cap that comes off the top of the cap to reveal a small holding area for the next set of pill(s) you will be crushing. I have found this to be quite handy, especially in the mornings when I can get the meds I need right away easily & quickly.I do have a small complaint about it and this seems to be true with other ones I've used and it that the crushed pills tend to stick to the bottom. So I do need to either tap it against the counterto loosen the crushed pills or use my finger to scrape the crushed meds off of the bottom. If these could be made with a more non stick type surface thas would make it even more functional.The unit is all plastic, but is quite sturdy and well made. Its ability to crush pills is excellent overall. I've had other ones and this one works better than many of the other ones I've used.

Ya tengo más de 3 meses usándolo y es perfecto. Lo utilizo para dar medicamento a una bebe. Muele las pastillas por completo. Lo único malo fue que tardo bastante en llegar.TIP: para que la pastilla se muela perfectamente, denle vuela y regresen y vuelvan a dar vuelta hasta que quede con la textura que deseen.
