will these work on delphi weatherpack connectors with 12 gauge wire?

from internet search, delphi weatherpack crimp tools seem to be of a fold around and into wire type of device, this 909 tool only compresses a dimple into the sleeve. Therefore I would not advise it!!

Does this work well on stakons?

YES. I love this tool. I use it almost every day. From 10 to 22 gauge terminals it works great! Smooth operation and cuts all size wire clean and straight also. Anyone who has one and doesn't like them, please send them to me! I'd love an extra pair to keep on my boat. I'll pay the shipping if they're in good shape

how well does this work with 18-22 gauge connectors like what would be used connecting speaker wires in a car or fog light.

the non insulated part of the crimper works well on connectors of any size, some of the smaller connectors may not get crimped very tightly with the insulated part.

How thick is the crimping part?

The thickness is slightly less than 1/4 inch, .210
